What docking station do you use actually do need to gets one never owned one

Portable (aka external) ones u can instantly accsess data. When plugging into a different pc. Every time I plug a hdd directly into a different pc for some reason it recognises it as a new drive, sorry i don’t know too much about data recovery.

My friend has gave me an old laptop (roughly 10 years old) she wants me to recover her family photos of it. what methods of recovery would you guys suggest? Because of the age of the HDD would data recovery still be possible? because I am aware in this instance I can’t simply just plug in the hdd to a working pc and remove the data from it because it’s not a portable drive. how would I go about this?

Hello all, I’m lookin for a motherboard that supports two CPUS up to 8 Ram slots. Crossfire/SLI and up to 256GB for DDR4 Ram. 3000mhz anyone know of a motherboard that would support that?
