Here is a couple of things I would do.

First use stress test software to test the stability of both CPU and GPU. OCCT, Cinebench, CPU-Z. I usually start with a quick CPU-Z benchmark test to see if it makes it to the end and if it is stable with good temps, I then use Cinebench to make sure it doesn't crash after at least 20sec ( that means anything from Cinebench just closing with no errors to a full system freeze or reboot). If those two go well I know my CPU is stable.

I would then use Furmark, and some random games to check for the stability of the GPU. Use OCCT to test the GPU VRAM and system RAM.

If all of that goes well but I still crash during games or any other tasks, if it's a soft crash then I would use processor lasso to see what happens at the moment of crash like a big spike in CPU usage. That usually means I have too low of a voltage being fed to my processor.

I would probably reseat my processor just as a sanity check as well. If you worry that your CPU is no longer as good as it used to be, all the stress testing and benchmarks should reveal that. If it doesn't crash during benchmakrs like Cinebench, then it's not very likely that it would cause a crash during a game.

Every time some component breaks, you have to go RMA it and than wait 30 days... It is annoy AF. If you saw my luck you wouldn't wonder,  I have 5 components in a row faulty from 2 shops... SSD dies on me i didn't use it awhile, it wasn't dropped or anything... Every monitor I have cables get stuck there, or DVI didn't fit to monitor but it did to GPU, while it was compatible with both... And there is software bugged, all time solving some bugs, or Windows update deletes windows folder 😄 😄 😄 Also bought motherboard that is whole basically one big EMI shield, but sound card isn't shielded and there is often cracking noises which drive me crazy and i had to buy vertical mount as GPU didn't even fit there and even in expert PC shop they never head about something like that. ASUS is absolutely worst manufacturer, their support sucks, forums load 20 minutes 1 page, even their expensive mobos for 500$ suffer with 1ms+ DPC latency in 2020+ Their mouse sucks hard, everything on them is bad... Also hate changing components, or doing something in PC, even in big tower there is no space as motherboard has to be places at the edge of case anyways, how i can reach there i have hands like big foot... Or ssd slots in cooler master 500hp are moronic, there is no way to connect sata cable there, because you couldn't close case, design of cases relating to motherboards or PSU is especially bad in many cases. We can make microprocessors, but can't make on macroscopic scale stupid piece of metal so it doesn't suck in so many ways... This is so annoying...

There IS a 100% sure way to guarantee complete computer security.

Step 1. Don't ever go online
Step 2. Destroy both the drive and the RAM every time its used.

By performing these two easy steps, you can guarantee yourself that no one can obtain your data.

Everything else is at best only 99.99+% of security.

You can help scientists to find cure to cancer by playing this game, it is playable til the end of April 2022.
Using a 3D analysis technique, we collect data to investigate which parts of the genome play a key role in the establishment and development of different types of cancer. The more people collaborate, the faster we can make progress in this research. We are looking for 30,000 gamers to play a minimum of 50 games before the end of April 2022. A specific reference genome for breast cancer will be a valuable tool to better understand how the genome works and to advance new treatments.

The only source i have available is the basic knowledge of how any eardrum works on a fundamental level. Type of noise is irrelivant if the volume of it is within an eardrums tolerances. The only way a soundwave can damage an eardrum is if its beyond what it can handle be it volume or air pressure.

Any surface that is in contact with your skin has the potential to cause irritation and excess secretions in that area.  Glasses pressing into your temples can cause excessive oil and breakouts.  Buds in your ear can cause sweating, breakouts and wax buildup.  Etc, etc, etc.

    P.S.
Murine ear wax kit is something you should use regularly if you have excess wax production.  Q-tips can compact it and make it even worse.  I've had peanut-M&M sized wads removed by a doctor before.  That was NOT pleasant--and it smelled like Satan's gooch.

While absence of proof isn't proof of absence, it is a sign that if hardly anything points to other sources than loudness as the major driver of hearing loss that there isn't that much more to it. Your supposed sources of damage from the initial post:
Noise - I think this has been covered; prolonged exposure to loud noises damages hearing. Unequal amplicification - in the way you describe it that's just noise in a different way, so it's the same as point 1. Poor sound quality - why? It may be unpleasant to listen to, but unpleasant noise isn't damaging noise. Mostly becomes point 1 again because you might be more tempted to turn it louder to hear it better or make it sound slightly better. Standards - This also  raises "why?" with me. Ignoring electrocution or physical damage to your head, how would a poorly built pair of headphones damage your ears? What "regulations and standards" are there to protect your ears? Vertigo - maybe, but vertigo doesn't damage your ears either. As a side-note, from a quick look at a recent review article the effect of hearing loss on balance seems to still be poorly understood. As for other potential causes of hearing loss, this article sums up a few for adults:
AGE-RELATED DEGENERATIVE PROCESSES GENETIC MUTATIONS NOISE EXPOSURE EXPOSURE TO THERAPEUTIC DRUGS SMOKING, ADIPOSITY, AND CHRONIC DISEASES SUDDEN HEARING LOSS and this one about children adds
Trauma Born with hearing loss Infections/tumors So the answer to "can cheap headphones damage your hearing" to me seems to be: not inherently, but they can if you turn them up too loudly or use them in a way that physically damage your ears and hearing-related organs. Additionally, if they were, I think chances are they wouldn't be sold in such large quantities or we'd be seeing a lot more adverts about how bad they are for you.

Extremely loud noise for a split second can ruin your hearing just as much as moderately loud noise over a long time period.

The NIOSH and CDC permissible exposure times are as follows:

    (All A-Weighted)

    85 dB - 8 hours

    88 dB - 4 hours

    91 dB - 2 hours

    94 dB - 1 hour

    97 dB - 30 minutes

    100 dB - 15 minutes

    103 dB - 7.5 minutes

    106 dB - 3.75 minutes

Loud noises damage the ears, what is the source of the loud noise doesn't really matter, how loud it is, and how much time was spent hearing it does. Headphones if used with lower volumes aren't going to damage your ears, same about earbuds, IEMs, speakers, just make sure to keep the volume on the low side and don't overcompensate for external noises and you're going to be fine.
As far as I know that is due to the lack of proper isolation, which causes people to increase the volume more than they should, which ends up causing damage.
If you don't exaggerate at the volume it's no problem hearing wise.

Cheap potentiometers, like those often used in headphones, tend to have large channel imbalance at low levels since mechanical inaccuracies in the construction have a magnified effect in those sections.

The recommendation that you not use digital volume control generally only applies if you have a good powered analog volume control like the potentiometer on a heapdhone amplifier (and even then, isn't always valid). The impedance mismatch and reduced damping from lowering the volume using an unbuffered series potentiometer like those used on passive headphones are massive compared to any noise contribution that digital volume control could ever produce.

Why digital volume control doesn't matter for anyone who's just plugging their headphones into their computers:

empleat reacted to Tanaz in What is failure rate of components?
Depends on a lot of things. I have mice fail on me quite more often then they do for the average user. I've replaced around 8 mice in 3-4 years 6 of which due to failure. Part of the reason being I'm playing high APM games that require a lot of clicking for a large portion of the day and another part mouse switches not being up to spec with newer mice boards ( it's a long explanation I'm too lazy to get into but TLDR Omron switches have stayed mostly the same while mice circuits operate at lower voltages and when the switch's copper plate get's a bit bent/scratched it starts doubleclicking).
Are electronics lower quality than they were 30 years ago? Most definitely. And that's because they're not expected to be used nowhere near as long as old electronics were. If you bought a TV in the 80s chances were you wouldn't replace that TV for a long time. Even if it failed there were usually easy fixes. Right now products are expected and made to last 2-3 years at best. Few brands defy that trend but most of them are either botique brands that make high quality/low quantity/high price items or brands that have made a name for themselves for their durability (Noctua).

Biggest problem  of it all is that brands don't  endourse item repairability and right to repair anymore. While 20-30 years ago you would have the board schematics on a metal plate on or in the device itself now it's considered copyright infringement if you even obtain set schematics. Louis Rossman goes into great detail about it all and he mostly refers to Apple but it's happening at an increasing pace with a lot of brands. Companies don't mind making more e-waste if it makes them money.

In conclusion there are 4 main reasons in my opinion:
1.Short product cycle due to rapid acceleration of technological progress being used as an excuse for lower quality components.
2.Companies wanting to make as much money as possible.
    3. The huge mark ups on a lot of devices / parts that allow manufacturers to risk selling a higher failure rate product because they make more than enough money to cover the costs of free replacements.
    4. The dying art of repair and companies lobbying against right to repair as a whole.
edit: Bonus reason 5 - increased complexity of boards / products that introduce more failure points.

What is failure rate of motherboards, or monitors? I could go on streak, counting faulty hardware i got in a row. While i buy from specialized computer shop 1st and 2nd in my country with 99% positive votes. Maybe i gave a bad review, or something and they gave me faulty hardware on purpose... I returned also some mice, because they didn't fit and they had bad tongue about it. While i shopped there over 15 years and spend a lot of money there... It is totalitarianism we live in, it is already black mirror in real life! And everyone is little sjw and if you don't say everything is great, you get censored and lose your job, even if it is true... That's probably too paranoid, but i don't seriously know at this point. Or it could be some extreme bad luck. But what are the odds, i got like 3 faulty things in a row and other than that 2 faulty monitors in a row! Even one monitor was from other shop.

More probable is that - today quality is just garbage. Or some extreme extreme bad luck, happens sometimes... I am joking a bit, but what the heck?! Anyway i will choose other computer shop in the future, seems like problem with the shop. Maybe recently something happen, or they have delivery from somewhere else. Who knows...

While monitor i had before these 2, i connected there all kinds of cables that exist over years and it never happened. And with one, it happened, it was eizo for 450$. And since it was new, you couldn't even tighten dvi one side and to gpu cable went fine from both sides!

Yup. It happens. I had two parts DOA in my build and have never had another part DOA before (in ~10 years).
Though different parts have different DOA risks. Risk of DOA is greater with a motherboard right now it seems. Whether that's because of minor user error or true DOA is not known, but the number of claimed DOA is greater per unit with motherboards from what I can tell.
It is also important to consider the vocal minority, especially in this situation, since on-arrival failure rates should be extremely low (think sub-1%), and they are ostensibly higher than that. That's a lot of money, a lot of time, and a lot of materials wasted on both ends of the exchange.

Asus scammed me with this mobo: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-Z390-I-GAMING
It has gigantic I/O shield blocking pci-e slot and you can't connect to it larger gpu than 1060! Even support linked me page, where is gpu support list, i didn't see it anywhere on that page and there is no reason for people to check this info. Because it is uncommon, no other mobo literally has that. If mobo has pci-e it will always fit in... Even geek in specialized computers never heard of it... So i was forced to get garbage vertical mount. Which is hard to plug in, because you have to install first gpu, before connecting a cable and than there is no space even in huge big tower... I had my pci-e gen 3 running at pci-e x2 3.0. Which is like wtf? I had in bios gen 3 and there is nothing you can do. I thought it is already broken, because today hardware is so garbage, it breaks every day. If i counted, i would be like on streak getting faulty hardware, or something... So i guess, because gpu doesn't cover pci-e slot when in vertical mount, dust gets there easily... SO i am stuck on this garbo and every couple weeks or so, i will have to take it apart and dust it off with compresed air, FML... Vertical mount is so obnoxious to take out and install in, even in big tower there is no space and i have dust filter and almost no dust in computer after months, yet 1 micro particle complete f2cked my pci-e. Geeez.... F2ck asus.

I have ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-I GAMING - Intel Z390 and G.SKILL 16GB KIT DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Trident Z RGB and i checked QVL and i found this ram in the list. Besides shouldn't all DDR4 ram be same ?  So i read manual and you should be holding them with both hands on each end and put them straight in and than secure slot with lever on the right. On the left lever is static and can't be flipped. I even measured slots, so i am 100% sure i am putting them in right direction as one side is shorter... Cooler almost block my ram slot, but it think there is tiny space still. First i thought cooler blocking it, but i don't think so. I tried right slot, which is long distance from cooler and not blocked on 100% and it still won't go in. This is my first DDR4 ram. I never had issue with ddr3, just push and secure it with levers on both sides at the same time. But this won't go even in. If i put it straight in, like it is in manual, it won't even go in. And if i put it with one side first, than second will be lifted like wtf ? Why i have always most ridiculous problems, last mobo socket level was faulty and you couldn't even move it...

So what have i learned: now every mobo have different way to put in ram, which sucks and is impractical and counter intuitive. That's apparently how you put ram on asus mobos and also start putting it first at angle like 30 degrees. At the side where is lever, which can be switched. Until you hear click (you know like there are squares on both side of ram with O inside, these should click first not ram pressed to the slot !!!), than put it on other side until your hear click with low force, it should slide like that in easily and than press one side with thumb and than other with thumb doesn't matter which first. link to video. Also asus manual is completely incorrect... Which is good way how to destroy ram, or be annoyed, they don't even know how to install ram to their own motherboard LMAO...
