  1. my Idea of the build was to make it future proof... from what I understand, the monitor I chose has G-sync, and runs at 1440p.. If I were to run the 1660 ti at 1440p, the g-sync would enable the monitor to output a smooth visual over the screen.. and also i wouldn't need to change the monitor if I upgrade the graphic card a year or 2 later to RTX 2080 which then would be able to utilize the 165Hz. Do correct me if I've understood this wrong.
  2. wow thank you both for this input... probably would go for the build @Slottr created... and thank you for the well wishes @Skipple...
  3. Hey everyone... I'm Yoga and I just finished my studies... currently trying to build my own PC but I'm kind of stumped when it comes to cases, fans, PSU and the whole lot. I'm from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The prices for pc parts are extremely high and I'm trying to build something within my means. That being said I'm looking to build an Intel system with i7-9700k paired with a MSI GTX 1660 ti Gaming X. Planning to use the rig for gaming only and maybe streaming in the distant future. Please do suggest a set up that would work... thank you. Below is something I came up with could any1 complete the rig or help suggest something different all together?
