  1. Hi All, I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this or under Programming. I am trying to figure out if training courses for AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions is applicable to Azure DevOps Server setups. Most of the training companies I have talked are only willing to tell me that the course only focuses on Azure DevOps Service and does not touch Azure DevOps Server. If anyone in the forums is able to share their experiences on the course, and also if anything that is taught within the course is transferable to an Azure DevOps Server setup, that would be great. Thanks everyone.
  2. NZXT H710i, NZXT fans? Default fan placement, 3 x 140 front in take, 1 x 120 rear exhaust. Ambient room temperature is around 30 - 35? I'm planning to do a system upgrade sometime this year and change the case to a O11D XL.
  3. Now I'm wondering if I should go find a proper heatsink or find a better thermal pad if the ASUS cover was meant to be a heat sink.
  4. I don't think there's a heat sink per se, but supposedly there is some form of cover for the SSD? I wouldn't say it is ideal, but my HDDs runs around 40 degrees celsius. There's supposed to be some sort of intake fan at the shroud area.
  5. Hi All, I have a Samsung 970 Evo 1 TB NVME SSD that occasinally will run at low 60s degrees celsius even though I don't think it's doing anything. This reading is from CrystalDiskInfo. Post boot temperature may be around high 30s to low 40s due to my tropical climate, I think. I am running it on a ASUS ROG STRIX X570-F, if that is part of any consideration. Thank you.
  6. Not sure if anyone else sees this but I was just searching through some content about LG TVs and notice that there were some descriptions linking to the crypto scam sites. Not sure if it is cached or they really embedded that during the attack.
  7. Just out of curiosity, I wonder if there is any difference folding via AMD vs NVIDIA GPU and/or Intel vs AMD CPU.
  8. Forgot to check the terms and conditions. Any idea how are those living in foreign countries handled?
  9. I can probably try with my RX5700 but don't expect too much from me. Worst case scenario is that I add in my NAS to fold as well.
  10. Thanks. Was thinking if I needed to get something like 9 x NF-A12x25 or could I get away with the slightly cheaper NF-F12 for those radiators. Thanks, I'll keep this as reference for my research.
  11. Hi All, I am trying to understand better the concept for Pull configurations for radiators. Usually I hear that for Push configurations, I should be looking at a fan with high static pressure to overcome the resistance from the radiator. So looking at pull configurations, am I supposed to stick to the same high static pressure setup? Or am I supposed to look at a high CFM setup? I am looking to build my first custom loop in 2023 with a O11 XL and am trying to figure out what kind of fans I need for top, side and bottom placements. Thanks in advance.
  12. Seems like it is Lazada. Once I uninstall it and delete the .gs folder, it does not appear. Will continue to monitor over the week.
  13. I also have Lazada running on my phone. Let me try uninstalling it and see what happens.
  14. I'm confused now. I thought by plugging this onto the motherboard, the power would be supplied from the motherboard itself? I thought for 3-pin versions, those only connect to the PSU directly?
  15. So based on what you mentioned, the motherboard will take the readings off FAN 1 in my diagram and apply the relevant signals, assuming that FAN 2 and FAN 3 works in the same way?
  16. Hi All, I am attempting to move from my current NZXT H710i to a new O11 Dynamic XL by the end of the year. I notice that the O11 does not have any fans included and I am planning to get 3 Noctua NF-A12x25 as a side intake. The problem I am facing now is that I am not sure if I can connect the Y-Splitters to the PWM connectors on my ASUS ROG Strix X570-F motherboad or not. Likewise, is there a optimal configuration if I can do so? I was thinking along the lines of two Y-Splitters, the first one connect to the motherboard and 1 fan, with the second connection connecting to the second Y-Spliiter and the remaining 2 fans. Thanks for the help!
  17. I suspect it could be a background service that pops up from time to time. I don't need to reboot my phone but I know within the next 24 hours, it will recreate the folders if I were to delete it.
  18. Using a Galaxy S10 with Synology Apps and social apps like FB and Insta lite. Use Tele for communications, but other than that, nothing else comes to mind.
  19. The more I look at it, the more it appears to be Chinese related application names. But for the life of me, I don't recall downloading or installing Chinese Apps. I see taobao, alipay, huawei.
  20. Hi All, I wanted to check if anyone has ever come across this folder appearing in your android phone? Internal Storage/Pictures/.gs The folder itself contains about 100+ other folders and it each one of them appears to be following a mobile app naming convention like: com.xiaoshijie.sqb com.hupu.shihuo tv.icntv.ott ... com.alibaba.wireless I am not sure how it got started or what started it. Should I be concerned?
  21. Hi, I am trying to enable BitLocker on my boot drive and have enabled fTPM to do so. However, I do keep getting the following error message: The path specified in the Boot Configuration Data (BCD) for a BitLocker Drive Encryption integrity-protected application is incorrect. Please verify and correct your BCD settings and try again. I have also tried the steps to point to my C:\ drive but the error still remains. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/error-message-when-you-try-to-run-the-bitlocker-drive-encryption-program-cannot-run-39e3c3f5-4f5f-242c-504a-ee55e5015eee I am running off a NVME SSD with only the following partitions: Recovery Partition EFI System Partition C:\ Does anyone have any clue on what I could be missing?
  22. Hi, I am quite new to Ubuntu. I have a docker container that is running on Windows currently and it is accessing database resources via the host name. What I notice on Windows is that I can ping or connect to those resources simply via the host name and I do not need to remember the IP address of the computer. I also notice that this can also be done even if I don't have a DNS server running locally (I think?). However, when I run the container on an Ubuntu host, I keep getting connection errors. I have tried to edit the /etc/hosts and /etc/hostname to include the proper host name of the PC and the fixed wired IP I am using. I have also tried a test database on the same Ubuntu system but I cannot connect to it via its host name. I was wondering if there is a configuration I am missing to have the same functionality as Windows? Or do I need to do something else?
  23. Hi All, I currently have one Ubuntu 20.04 LTS PC on my network that is connected to two networks. I read somewhere that I can use Screen Sharing to remotely control that PC from another using VNC. I am unable to make it work as the settings on Screen Sharing only shows the wireless network adapter. Does anyone know how to enable Screen Sharing on one of my other Wired Networks? Is there a configuration I am missing? Thanks in advance.
  24. Is it the kind of number I need to turn the system off? Or is it the kind that I need to get a replacement within the next 24 hours? Or can it last me to the next weekend?
  25. Hi All, I'm not sure if I should put this under NAS or Storage section, so apologies if I got it wrong. I've got an old Western Digital Green (Blue now?) 6TB drive (WD60EZRZ) that has reported that there are 300+ Bad Sector Count. The number has been stable for a couple of months without increasing and Synology reported that the whole system is Healthy. So I assumed it was still okay to use it. However, old the last couple of days, the number has been increasing by about 1 every 2 days or so. Should I be concerned and get a new replacement drive? And for those who are more experienced in this field, is there a particular threshold I should be looking out for when I am monitoring those drives? Thanks!
