  1. The 3600 does indeed seem better. I play both indie games and AAA games.
  2. Wow, thanks for the advices. A quick question: is the ASRock B450 Steel Legend ATX AM4 better than the Asus ROG STRIX B450-F ? Now I'm a little under budget, do you have any upgrades to suggest ?
  3. Hey, I'm planning on build my first tower. 1. Budget & Location 1500€ = ~1 650$ in France but I can go up to 1750€ = ~2000$ if it is to have much better parts. . The budget is for the tower and a monitor. I already have an os. 2. Aim Mainly gaming and watching movies, maybe a bit of programming. 3. Monitors One for now, maybe two in the future. 4. Peripherals None needed besides monitor. 5. Why are you upgrading? I currently play on a gl552vw ASUS laptop but but it's a little outdated with more recent games and I want to keep it clean for work now. This is what I think I will be building: PCPartPicker Part List CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7 GHz 8-Core Processor (€197.28 @ Amazon France) CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S 55 CFM CPU Cooler (€59.90 @ Amazon France) Thermal Compound: Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver 3.5 g Thermal Paste (€6.90 @ Amazon France) Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard (€129.99 @ Amazon France) Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory (€95.98 @ Cdiscount) Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive (€114.00 @ Amazon France) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (€71.34 @ Amazon France) Video Card: Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB Video Card (€409.40 @ TopAchat) Case: Fractal Design Focus G ATX Mid Tower Case (€53.98 @ Cdiscount) Power Supply: Corsair 850 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (€179.99 @ Amazon France) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit (€0.00) Case Fan: Noctua NF-F12 PWM 54.97 CFM 120 mm Fan (€19.89 @ Amazon France) Case Fan: Noctua NF-A12x15 PWM 55.44 CFM 120 mm Fan (€22.95) Monitor: Iiyama G-MASTER BLACK HAWK 24.5" 1920x1080 75 Hz Monitor (€139.89 @ TopAchat) Total: €1501.49 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-11-20 21:53 CET+0100 What do you think about it ? (I will probably order it on Amazon)
