  1. Ngl i could probably use a hard drive somewhere around my house. I know i definitely got at least one sitting around here. Good suggestion!
  2. They are some big plugins and datapacks for sure. The ram is allocated, the plugins and datapacks act as a "modpack" adding new dimensions and items to the game while having no downloads for the client. My friends arent as tech savvy as I am and thats why I did it this way. Im gonna run a server report to see what plugins are taking the most RAM, but i might even throw 32 gbs of ram in as ram prices arent too bad right now.
  3. Just hosting, im gonna run a report on the server to see which plugins are maxxing out the ram as well.
  4. Hey guys, so ive been running a minecraft server off my laptop for some time now. Right now i currently run a server with datapacks and plugins (yes ive made sure they are compatible with each other). My server tps is severly degraded at 5-6 players (drops to as low as 9 TPS) and my ram usage is maxxed out at the 9 gbs that i have allocated. Would something like this be worth investing in? New PC Specs: Used dell optiplex on craigslist intel core i7-6700 16gbs of ram <---- is this enough ram for the 15 plugins and 5 datapacks?? 256gb ssd Laptop specs: Lenovo somethin somethin Intel core i7-1165g7 12gbs of SOLDERED ram 512gb ssd Server ver: paper 1.19.3 Like i said the issue with the server is the ram. The cpu is usually sitting at 10% usage when the server is running. The reason I am hosting the server myself compared to using a host service is since I want a dedicated PC I can tinker around with on linux anyways. Lemme know what you guys think!
  5. In the FPS benchmark lobby, i get 300+ but once the benchmark starts, it just gets heavily limited. My FPS drops to as low as 40 when I go through smoke.
  6. I have no idea, whenever i get out of the game, my CPU goes back down, CSGO is taking all of it and then just not using my gpu heavily.
  7. I wouldn't think it is throttling because I have a cooler master liquid cooler
  8. So I'm really confused because I am getting an average of 119 fps in CSGO with medium settings which is really bizarre for my system. Task Manager is showing my CPU at 80% to 99% usage and my GPU is showing 20% to 30% usage. My specs are: - GTX 1060 6GB - Intel Core i5-7400 - 8GB DDR4 2400MHz - 1TB Hard Drive (The game is on this drive) - 120GB SSD - EVGA 650 Watt PSU Any Ideas? Thanks. ~Peatie
