Ktowns

So I have started looking for a laptop and feel rather overwhelmed. I want something that is not super outdated that will last at least a while for future games. Any advice. All saw the big post on here about the laptops based on graphics but they all seemed out of my price range. Any help/guidance would be appreciated. I have $800 (can squeeze a little more if I had to) My main plan is to have the laptop for when I need to be mobile. And then hook it up to a monitor at home.
