I think ASUS does NOT put CPU micro-code for i7-4790 to the BIOS file. Otherwise something is very wrong with BIOS updater file. Tested the i7-4790 with H97 PRO, and verified working flawlessly. Very much disappointing to ASUS service..

Hello, I have ASUS H87-PRO and am trying to boot with i7-4790. Yea, I surely updated the bios with the most recent one (2104), but never boots up. It works fine with i5-4570 but NO luck with i7-4790. ASUS surely says this board is surely compatible with i7-4790 with bios version newer than 1105. Never worked out. Very same case happens with ASUS H87-PLUS. Would somebody help me what is wrong here updating the BIOS? Thanks in avance. OS: Windows 10 PRO (64bit) CPU: i7-4790 Motherboard: ASUS H87-PRO (BIOS Ver:2104) RAM: 4x 2Gb PC3-10600U
