  1. Thanks for your reply! I am running in dual channel with 2x8GB sticks. I will try your suggestions and see where I get to.. it was working fine before with the other sticks.
  2. Thank you, I ran the Windows memory test and it didn't find any issues, not sure if that changes this answer?
  3. Hi guys, I recently swapped to a 16GB (2x8GB) Corsair Vengenance RGB Pro RAM kit and my PC randomly turned itself off (didn't turn back on) whilst running user benchmark and also whilst playing DOOM eternal + streaming. Those two scenarios are the only time it has happened - I played DOOM for 2 hours or so with no issues whatsoever... I also checked temps on the CPU and GPU and they were not abnormal. Could this be a PSU issue due to the RGB now on the RAM? I haven't changed any other aspect of the system apart from applying the XMP profile in the BIOS for the new RAM as it's 3600Mhz instead of the old 32GB setup which was 3200Mhz. My system specs are: OS: Windows 10 Pro CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1800X 3.9GHz (overclocked) CPU Cooling: Corsair Hydro H80i V2 RAM: Corsair 16GB Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 3600Mhz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super Case: Corsair Carbide SPEC-05 Motherboard: Asus PRIME X470 PRO PSU: Corsair VS 550W Note: The RAM is dual channel Any help would be deeply appreciated! Thanks, Nathan
  4. Thanks for your reply Leanora! Is it safe to manually set RAM speeds? I also don't even know how to do that haha Corsair link shows this info: I'm assuming everything is okay system wise.. otherwise I'd know about it already
  5. Hey guys, I'm in need of some advice here.. I bought a PC a few months back with 16GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM (2x8GB) Part no CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 After a couple of months I decided to upgrade to 32GB and decided to buy the "same" RAM (at least what I thought was..) which I have installed with no issues.. however, I checked the part number on the new RAM and it's CMK16GX4M2Z3200C16 - slightly different... And the only reason why I have been questioning this now is because of what I am seeing via CPU-Z Original RAM: New RAM: You can see they are different speeds slightly... should I return the new RAM sticks and buy the other ones with the same part number? Worried about this affecting system performance. Thanks!
