went with 3900x ? coming in wednesday non of these drives are even listed in shops here found them on ebay tho. do they have similar problem as 660p's with that massive speed reduction

This is how far i got till now MB - Gigabyte x570 auros elite 229€ GPU - KFA2 gtx 1070 ex ( more cuda's over 1660ti and 8gb but ddr5 ) 209€ RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000 32gb ( i could not get 3200 or 3600 of 32mm profile ram in stock so 3000 will have to do ) 144.23€ BOOT DRIVE - Intel 660p 1tb 124.80€ CPUFAN - Noctua NH-D15 103.80€ PSU - be quiet! Pure Power 11 600W ( rmx not in stock ) 90.79€ CASE - cooler master nr600 (w/o odd) 79,54€ i still need advice on work storage. Ive seen videos of bottleneck with qlc and got me abit worried about this when considering my main drive to work with.(i often transfer folders with 100+gb ) Should i just buy 2tb 660p and just never go over 50% or should consider maybe mlc ssd. *For archive ive bought another 2tb wd red but ive put togheter pc with freenas (idk if im gonna change) so i have 3x 2tb wd red in raid z so my pc is now only with 1 nvme (for now)* Second is again CPU... im stuck in my head with this one i really wanted to get 3950x just because i dont want to upgrade anytime soon and even tho i dont need that much power atm i dont want to think in few year "if only i went with it back then" but yes...it is IMPOSSIBLE to get it in stock here (30+day wait they say) and price is still 1050+€ so i'll have to go with eather 3700x/3800x/3900x and i really dont know witch to chose...im really overthinking this and i think i only need a good slap across the face for this one rather than advice... to sum it up...i need advice for work disk and a slap i guess (btw i am going to buy hdds for pc too but for month or so nas with gigabit network will do i think)

anyone looked into real weight of nh-d15 chromax cooler? ive ordered it but didnt came yet so i cant test it but basicly what i found is on site that is 980g w/o and 1320 with fan but wierd thing is that post tracking says 1160g (whole package...munts, LNAs, fans, cooler...) now im wondering if they screw up order or noctua site is wrong cuz post here almost never underweight package

thanks for reply. cxm is 75e rmx is 102e or 119 for 650w if i go with 660p instead of evo plus i can make that diffrence easy if its worth upgrading so 1660ti is enough and i should consider 3950x if going for 4k?

Hi, im planning to build new pc in next month or so cuz my old one died on me and i have few questions. I'm currently using pc for music production in ableton and i work quite alot in sketchup and pro engineer but main goal of spending abit more is to get into video editing mostly tons of 10second 1080/4k from gopro into 10min clips. I used to work in sony vegas but i will mostly use premiere now i think. gaming is in no way priority my "soon to be" setup CPU Ryzen 3700x GPU asus tuf 1660 Ti (on sale atm here) MB gigabyte x570 aorus elite RAM corsair vengence lpx 3200 2x16gb PSU corsair cxm550 CPU cooler noctua nh-u12a CASE cooler master nr600 + 1 more fan in front 1st question is about storage i want to take advantage of both m2 slots with additional ssd + some hdds for storage is it worth to have os and programs on m2 or should i have like 250gb sata for this and use one m2 for temps and other for quick access to content im looking at 970 evo plus (one 250gb and one 500gb) for 2.5 im thinking of wd blue 3dnand 1tb and i allready have 2x wd red 2tb and was thinking of getting third one for raid 5 storage and 2nd if i'll have some spare budget would it be overkill to go with 3950x (3800 and 3900x doesnt interest me as much) or should i maybe consider higher tier gpu 3rd is 550W enough.. im only planning to overclock it if necessary Thanks in advance for advices :)
