  1. Thanks for the highly in depth and helpful post. I always forget that other peoples gaming/life experiences are how mine should be. In all seriousness I play games where there are pauses in gameplay that I am waiting for that I like to watch things during. For example CSGO if I die very early in a round.
  2. I don't know that i want to go through the headache of Bios wiping/flashing but will definitely look into it.
  3. So I have recently purchased a 144hz 1080p monitor for gaming and if I am only running games the i5 seems to perform well enough to keep frames high enough to be nice and smooth. However if I want to run anything on my 2nd monitor (Browser for twitch, youtube, etc) I get a pretty good amount of stuttering and frame rate dips. With Microcenter currently offering the 2700x for $129, it has crossed my mind to upgrade to it and sell the i5 to recoup some of the costs for the new CPU/MOBO. Would this upgrade be worth it? Side question, if I do upgrade to the Ryzen would I need to upgrade my ram as well? Current specs: i5 7600K @4.5ghz Patriot Viper Elite 16gb 2666hz Ram asus z270-p mobo EVGA GTX 1080SC Water cooling for CPU
