    My laptop screen began leaking, but other than that the computer still has lots of life in it. I'd rather not have to buy another laptop while this can still last a few more years. I brought an HDMI to VGA cable, thinking that that's all I needed to make it work. Apparently not, seen a few videos where it says I need an Active HDTV HDMI to VGA Adapter, like this one, https://www.amazon.com/Rankie-HDMI-Adapter-3-5mm-Audio/dp/B00ZMV7RL2/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2S2V2H6FIPWJM&keywords=Active+HDTV+HDMI+to+VGA+Adapter+Converter&qid=1693702164&s=electronics&sprefix=active+hdtv+hdmi+to+vga+adapter+converter+%2Celectronics%2C96&sr=1-3 I'm assuming hopefully, that as long as I buy that and a VGA to VGA cable, it'll start working.     I seem to have made a mistake, the videos not shown are in the live section. But why? why the need to keep them separate? It's still videos, why not keep it all in the video section? Can't they allow the user the to choose if they want it separate? I feel like it'd be better if next to the "recently uploaded" and "popular" button they'd add the live and short buttons. And where do these ideas come from? Who the heck does youtube talk to that makes them do these changes?

    This isn't something I spotted, u/maluigario on reddit spotted this. When you go to https://www.youtube.com/c/Lawofselfdefense/videos, which show the recently uploaded, and compare it to the uploads playlist, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26HAo9X-OtU&list=UU-GqXHAdxVUVMw2F_7h_X3Q&index=7 , there are some videos hidden. I've already tested this on another laptop and it's the same. I don't know if the videos are actually demonetized, but I still don't understand why some videos would be hidden from the channels own videos page, but still be publicly available, if you were to search for it. Shown below: 1st image shows a video titled "More Alec Baldiwn..etc" as the most recently uploaded, but when comparing it to the uploads playlist, it is not. .

    so there's no way for me turn off the extensions? that sucks, but thank you

    This is my personal chrome book. When I checked task manager, it showed the extensions open even though Chrome isn't. I've already tried shutting down and restarting. There should be a setting called "continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed" under Systems, except there both of them aren't available. It may be because I'm on a Chromebook, as the people showing the solution aren't using one. I don't understand why the extensions continue to run even though chrome isn't open. My settings vs what I've seen online.

    I just put my power mode to best performance, and fans turned on and haven't turn off yet. The temps are now around 40 Celsius or lower. I just went to the core temp settings and changed it to Fahrenheit, it was at Celsius before, and i see temps at around 100, that's normal though right?

    The fans are off, and only turn on to cool it down a bit before turning off. I've already went to other forums on different websites, but no one has said if they were able to fix it. The fans are always supposed to stay on, right? Edit: when playing a game, the fans turn on, with temps being around 45-50

    My laptop has an hdmi, and she doesn't really know alot about computers, so she'll be like why you need another computer? you have one already

    I want to get a tower, but I'm not sure if my mom will let me get a pc moniter, if I can't, then how do I connect the tower to the laptop? Tried asking google but still confused, do I need a crossover cble or something? please help

    yeah, so after reading the comments, and when I search the name it didn't show up. what do I look for? There's model, SN#, and ProdID, which one do I put in, or should I type them all?

    these are the hp specs, Intel Coreᵀᴹ i3-7100U Processor 15.6 diagonal HD SVA BrightView display 4 GB DDR4 system memory 1 TB Hard drive storage model: 6UY82UA#ABA HP 15-bs031wm I'm not sure what to do, do I upgrade, get a better computer, or reinstall windows 10? please help
