  1. I’n a way but I’m trying to use it at work on tvs we have. And not sure that’ll work due to the network … they block pretty much everything not even sure a chrome cast will connect to the network… basically just need something to mirror my phones screen to a tv that will allow Netflix and Hulu etc mirroring
  2. Looking for a device that would let me mirror my phone screen to a tv using hdmi - can be lightning or USB-c or both. Particularly trying to mirror Netflix/Hulu/YouTube tv/ etc. all the ones I have seen don’t support Netflix or anything. sorry if this is the wrong section couldn’t decide where it should go…
  3. Since I've gotten my 3070 XC3 Ultra its almost felt like my PC is throttling with it. If I'm streaming it seems to cause more FPS issues than before. Im not Overheating or anything, Temps are all fine, Drivers all up to date, i have even tried to uninstall and reinstall them.. It works, just feels not as powerful as i expected I guess? Running EVGA Precision X1 aswell: https://prnt.sc/BNxACnuYy_3x PC Specs: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit CPU: Intel i7-7700K Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z270E GAMING - Bios Version - 05.0000C Bios Date - 03/15/18 Graphics card: GeForce RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra - GeForce Game ready driver 528.49 Ram: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4-28800) Power Supply: EVGA Supernova 850 Ga 80+ Gold Cooler: Masterliquid 240
  4. Just recently it seems whenever I have anything open (youtube video/chrome just on any default page... sometimes even just discord) my fps in games dips heavily sometimes in half or 1/4th ... Drops by about 50-80 fps if i stream (never this in the past) Mainly seems to happen on CS:GO more so. I've tried the "use hardware acceleration when available" toggle on and off trick and it doesn't seem to be helping much. Temps seem to be in normal range aswell. I am running precision X1 ill attach a screenshot of those settings. 5. What do you mean by "defaults" like Default bios settings / no overclocks?
  6. no my fps drops are major... like 300 down to 150 etc... and i have always had 2-3 monitors and its been very minimal fps drops... Typically its like what @HanZie82 said... very small margins that arent very noticable but as of late its been bad..

  8. so it seems like that fixed the GPU issue.. well I haven't experienced the issue since... however, now it seems like my CPU is maxing out where as it wasn't before lol
  9. about the only thing i havent tried yet.. i guess thats probably my next step.. should i just wipe everything nvidia related and start fresh with drivers? - i ran it full default settings.. and reinstalled geforce experience and the drivers.. ill post back with the results tomorrow when i actually test it.
  10. G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 Mainly BDO, and not sure exactly how to monitor per core usage. my CPU doesnt seem to be spiking to max usage at all and was never an issue before but i suppose it could be an issue.. when i double checked before upgrading to 3070 it shouldnt bottle neck much from my CPU at all. Figured with a ram upgrade too it would nullify any sort of memory bottleneck i was experiencing but i guess i was wrong xD my memory also doesnt really go over 12-15gb Used (30-50%) when the spike occurs.
  11. I recently noticed that my GPU keeps dropping down to like mid 40% usage while playing a game for a brief moment then spiking back up.. It hasnt spiked over 70C highest ive clocked it was 67C.. I mainly noticed it after I changed ram. I've tried to set bios back to defaults, tried to overclock it, downloaded precision X1 and ran the updates etc and scans and it doesnt seem to detect any issues at all.. Fans never spike over 60% usage when on auto and i'm gaming. Currently running default bios settings. 12. Im looking for a monitor for gaming. going for 1440P 144hz 1ms and under 600$, 2 i had in mind are: 1: LG 27GL83A-B 27 Inch Ultragear QHD IPS 1ms NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible Gaming Monitor, Black 2: LG 27GL850-B Only difference between them is option 2 is Nano IPS vs option 1 being normal IPS. I play alot of shooters, mmos and open world games.
  13. ive heard a little bit about it myself just havent used it yet and havent seen anything on transferring boot drives with it
  14. I have windows 10 currently on my Samsung SSD 850 Evo and im wanting to put it onto my samsung 970 evo plus m.2 and was wondering the best way to go about it?
  15. I’ll check them out and yeah I browsed that a little, I’m terrible when it comes to displays and such which is why I ask, get a few opinions and such and then look up reviews and stuff to make a choice.
  16. No big deal at all I work long tedious random hours so my brain does the same thanks I’ll check them out
  17. It handles it fine, I’m looking to upgrade, I want a better monitor, I’m running an i7. 7700k 16gb ddr4 ram and I have a asus z270E gaming mobo edit: I was looking towards a 1440p or so
  18. Looking for the best monitor for me. i have a 2080 super and right now am using a 144hz 1080p monitor but am looking to upgrade it. Suggestions? main use is gaming. Looking to stay below 500$ US but can work if the deals right.
  19. Yeah that was the plan, have you seen any times approx for the release? Trying to decide what site I wanna use lol.
  20. Ahh just saw now they formally released it saying it’ll be out tomorrow. Well I’ll try to snag one but who knows what will happen lol.
  21. Yeah that’s been the hardest part is they wait for like an hour prior to release info and with my work schedule it’s hard to sit there and wait I had a 3070 in my cart at checkout 4 different times and then the checkout crashed and it was gone. Unfortunate really lol
  22. Is it tomorrow or the 5th? I heard both, and yeah, I wanted a 3070 for this build or a 6800/XT but I wasn’t able to snag one unfortunately. I’m building it for a family friends kid for Christmas so it has to be done by then. I’m going to continue to try to snipe a 6800/xt and a 3070 until about the 8th-10th then I’ll just have to buckle down and take a loss on that part of the build, I’ll definitely keep the 5700xt in mind if anyone has other ideas aswell.
  23. Budget (including currency): have about US $650~ For the card Country: US Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: all sorts of games. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 144hz 1080p monitor ryzen 7 3700x msi b550 pro-vdh mobo 16gb ddr4 3200 ram 1tb 970 evo plus m.2 Corsair 750w bronze 80+ psu Pc part picker link don’t mind the monitors as they are just there for a price range and not what’s used in the build (they don’t have the monitors I ordered on there) I just need help filing the graphics card void as I was hoping to get a 3070 for it but it doesn’t seem like it will happen. Has to be built by 12/20/20 so I need something I can order soon if I can’t manage to snag a 3070 or anything.
  24. Using it for gaming mainly, trying to keep it below 500 but open to all sorts of different deals if the deals right I’ll buy it, and I’m in the United States
  25. Alright so ll probably stick with 2k 144hz , time to find a decent deal if anyone has suggestions on any!
