The number after DDR4 is the speed, higher = faster which is better, but your motherboard and CPU will both have maximum speeds they allow without it being considered overclocking. If you have different RAM in the same system with different speeds they will all run at the slowest speed. It is certainly better two use either two or four sticks of RAM, so either two 8GB sticks or four 4GB sticks, there are reasons for that but other than just saying its because of dual channel I can't actually remember why.

I don't know any in particular, but have you considered something with a touch screen (don't know if this would be on a laptop within the budget) or using an on screen keyboard? Maybe voice recognition might be helpful too? And if the trackpad is hard to use maybe use a seperate mouse, or a mouse with an alternate design like a vertical mouse or a trackball mouse? If she has trouble typing you could try filter keys/slow keys. Hope this helped!

Anyway, the angle part is purely for aesthetics and it doesn't hurt airflow in any way. Personally, I would choose Delirium. I'm not into those angle things in front, more like something industrial.

A desktop is certainly going to be more powerful than a laptop at the same price, however a laptop also comes with all the peripherals you need included, so you'd have to factor in the costs for those with the desktop as well. Even then though a desktop is probably better value. If the most important thing for the computer is portability then a laptop is definitely the best choice, but from a price for performance standpoint a desktop is definitely better. Personally i'd want to get the most performance possible out of my money, so i'd definitely go for a desktop, and if he needs portability than a compact desktop will also be portable, if not as easily portable as a laptop.

Personaly, I'd recomend either going with a gaming desktop, simply because gaming laptops tend to be big, heavy, and have terrible battery life. The ones that are not like this often cost an arm and a leg (ex. razer). compact mini itx systems can often cost more in the way of motherboards and cases, however they can be nice for portability. I'd recomend either going with a powerful desktop pc and a budget friendly laptop if he needs a laptop as well, or if he can do with his current one just put the whole budget into a desktop.

Are you going to use the extra 30 for something else otherwise? If you've got no current need for 32GB you could spend the extra 30 somewhere else. However, if you can't really upgrade anything with that extra 30 then its just a choice between saving some money now or adding some future proofing. That said, 200 seems like a lot for only 16GB's.

If your using a ryzen processor then it might be worth getting 16GB and using some of the money you save to get a faster kit, I believe the "sweet spot" is 3733mhz for ryzen processors. Though if your using intel its probably not worth the money it would cost you.

Basically, the 2080 Super offers most of the 2080Ti's performance, at almost €500 less, so unless you just really need the 11GB of VRAM, I'd highly suggest going with the 2080 Super instead.
But regarding what you said about the 1070, it should still handle modern AAA titles fine in the meantime, and depending on how good Nvidia's new offerings will be, it could be a smart choice to wait a little.
I changed up the 970 EVO PLUS for the MP600 to take advantage of PCI-E 4.0, so you will be getting better speeds, but if I had to be honest, it's more of just a placebo, as the 970 EVO PLUS will be more than fast enough for any task and it is a very reliable SSD, so you could just go with that. Also I swapped out the 860 QVO in favor of the 660p just because it's NVMe, so it will save you from having to run SATA cables and it will be faster than a regular SATA drive.
650W will be more than enough for this system, I was also considering a be quiet Straight Power 650W, but the RMx was cheaper and comes with a 10 year warranty, as opposed to just 5 years on the Straight Power.

Buying processors that aren't tested/compatible/validated with your motherboard might have something to do with it.

MSI hasn't got the Athlon on their compatability list. So that's a pretty clear indication that you shouldn't buy it.

Just a quick update.  Finally got it all together and working on getting the air out of the loop and software installed.  Have some mods to the case to get it to work properly.  Apparently a top mounted radiator causes issues with some of the taps on the top panel.  The Phanteks case is nice and roomy to build in, but the quality and some of the design is a head scratcher.  My 9900K NZXT case feels like a tank compared to this one.  Also need to do something with the cables.  May get a new set from CableMods to fit the look of the build.

Ryzen 3600 + MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX/Gaming Plus MAX + 16GB 3600Mhz memory is quite a good choice at the moment, although the 3700X can be interesting too, if you need the extra cores.
I would recommend though running MSI Afterburner while gaming, just to see what you fps in games is like and what devices get utilized the most, so you can see what needs to be upgraded in your system (to see if the GPU is also adequate for what you're doing).

Get Kingston A400 480GB SSD instead of your current one.

Does that motherboard come with Ryzen 3000 ready bios? If not, get MSI B450 Tomahawk because you will have to update it yourself, and you cannot do it without older Ryzen CPU on the Asus board.

Oh and get lower wattage PSU. You don't need more than 550W.

As for the GPU, you should have enough money for GTX 1660 which will suit your needs perfectly.

If you were just using it for gaming they would be right, but the extra cores and threads will provide additional benefit for you because you stream, and as new games come out that require more cores it will start to have an impact there too. Still if you can afford it 3700x and 3900x are definitely worthy upgrades. The 3800x is a bit more iffy, if it's not much more expensive than the 3700x then its worth it, but i've seen some massive price differences between the two that aren't justified by how much it improves over the 3700x.

xmp (or a-xmp) is basically allowing for a memory overclock (your ram is meant to work at that higher speed, but the motherboard considers it an overclock because it officially only supports the slower speed). Turn it on and it should work, if it doesn't once it is enabled you can manually set the speed.

In general i'd say yes, but the performance would depend on the game and the settings, some will be better than others. Also to really say yes or no we would need to see the rest of your systems specs.
