  1. If the wifi is good in one room and bad in another, an easy solution is to get a wifi extender like this: https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Wi-Fi-Range-Extender-EX2700/dp/B00L0YLRUW?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_1 After you follow the instructions to set it up, you can move it around the house as needed. It does not need to be reconfigured every time you plug it in.
  2. I uninstalled and reinstalled the client (I had messed with some advanced config options) and down clocked my GPU a bit. Seems to be running well now. Edit 1) I think I eliminated the possibility that it was a config error. I tried returning my RX480 to stock speed and started getting the same issue with Bad states and Particle coordinate nan's. I've settled on a 5% down clock for now and it's been operating well between yesterday and today.
  3. I'm having similar issues with an RX480. 1) Frequent "No WUs available for this configuration." 2) When I do get a WU, after a couple % completion it returns "Bad state detected..." and "Particle coordinate is nan." Then it reaches max retries and returns the WU.
  4. The Autore Keyboard looks like it could survive a beating and still look good while doing it. As a college student that is very attractive to me.
  5. I agree. We don't know how it will function yet. It would be amazing if the game was completely open without needing to buy anything, but I wonder what quality of game Pokemon Company would make with that sort of model.
  6. This game has the potential to be the first game since Age of Empires 3 that I would find exciting and worthwhile to pay $60 up front for. The question is... would I be ok with spending that amount in micro transactions? No, I don't think I would. Microtransactions to unlock full gameplay is easily more obtrusive than the adds on Spotify, and those are really annoying.
  7. Stoked to see what happens with Vessel as a new platform! The giveaway is cool too. Thanks for the one year subscription free! I feel like I've already won something. Vessel User: jarro_mortal Videos: https://www.vessel.com/videos/JemZ8O7Hy https://www.vessel.com/videos/Yj4PbcgKj
  8. This is great! It will make Cortana so much better to have the bigger user base for feedback and complaints. I'd like a review of Cortana at some point.
  9. I like seeing Edzel on camera, but I think he needs to practice more in front of a camera before doing additional solo videos.
  10. Nick vs Nick version next? Maybe bring in other youtube tech channels?
  11. Hot 14nm-ness. Hopefully hot performance-ness.
  12. This is really exciting for AMD. I hope they won't get near any shovels with this new release.
  13. I like the concept of the S wave and S Box. Of the two the S box looks more elegant to me, but the front side with the big boxy intake looks tacky.
  14. Props to President Obama. What a great problem to confront! It's cool to see him pointing out changes that people want and that will encourage market competition, but I don't like the idea of the federal government flexing it's mastery muscles over the states to fix it. If Pres. Obama wants to encourage states to make the change or encourage congress to incentivize the change that's great, but right now I'd like more inter-state competition encouraged and less federal government meddling in everything.
  15. AMD is the company I most want to be good. Is it bad if I buy their products to help them better compete with Intel in the future?
