  1. Which laptop should I buy? Is the price diff worth it? Looking to do design/video work and game. 2. Yes like i said already used DDU to uninstall - didn't specifiy nvidia but i meant both. The funny thing is thats only time it was detected by device manager. But yeah cable didn't do anything.
  3. No just because i know that cable works as it works with the onboard and i tried dvi too but you think really might be cable?
  4. So I can't install card after following these instuctions as per Linus Tech Tips Instructions here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyDxrTHDjXQ&t=280s AMD adrenaline tool need to detect hardware to install and it can't detect the card (even in device manager). Had another graphics card in there so slot isn't the issue. Power is fine from what i can see as the card is on, fans are spinning. It also originally appeared in device manager "Radeon rx 590" with the old nvidia drivers but when i removed the device to reinstall with updated drivers as per AMD instructions it wouldn't reappear. Tried all the following fixes: AMD Driver cleanup tool DDU driver uninstall Removing and reinstalling hardware. Removing CMOS motherboard battery and putting it back in. Above with power cycle. Show hidden devices(device manager) Switching between HDMI/DVI outputs/inputs. Please any help would be appreciated. Thank you. 5. I'm thinking based on what you've advised i may just upgrade GPU (is the RX 570 you suggested compatible with my current build?) and push this build as long as i can to save money and just do a $1200 build in about 3 years time, which i'll def come back here for
  6. Hello so looking to do some upgrading for my PC but never built before looking for advice so i hopefully avoid any bad decisions/mistakes beforehand. Want to upgrade GPU from a gtx 680 to a rtx 2070 and add an NVME drive if possible for around $700. For both of these i want to know if they are compatible with my motherboard (Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H ATX) and case (Cooler Master HAF XM (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case) before i buy? For NVME do i need to buy an adapter for PCIe slot to make compatible? And is it even possible to switch that to be my new boot drive with the OS(windows)? for the 2070 what type of power supply would be adequate? Also just in general what upgrades would you recommend?
