The PSU has already been changed, but the problem still exists. It is advised to examine other parts, such as the motherboard, CPU, or RAM, to determine whether any of them are broken. It's also a good idea to inspect the switchboard or power outlet you're using because there might be a problem with the electrical wiring in your house or with the power cable you use to give power from your outlet to your PSU.You can start by making sure that all connections, including those connecting the power supply, motherboard, CPU, and RAM, are seated and secure in order to try and identify the issue. It can be useful to unplug and replug all of the computer's cables.
By removing one component at a time and checking to see if the issue still exists, you can also try the process of elimination. This can help you pinpoint the faulty hardware

It's not a prebuilt im talking about the gpu brackets that prevent it from sagging. And im expecting that to be the issue since i saw a lot of people have problems with their brackets touching up on their fans

In all seriousness, those temps are fine, but if you put better paste application it would probably shave a few degrees off.

Obviously, do NOT put paste in the socket.

Before this current application of my thermal paste i had 2 other applications one both in different application styles and all 3 of them including the current application of thermal paste were doing the same temps in gaming and in cinebench

I'll be pretty surprised actually if it's too little now that i think about it.I remember putting a pretty decently sized blob and honestly i don't have the patience nor am i in the right state of mind to open up the pc for the 3rd time today so imma just let it like this. The temps are pretty good 47c idle,74c in a cinebench run and about 85c after 40 minutes of realbench.
    Hope nothing bad happens.

Sure, there shouldn't be any problems, now if your laptop is going to be able to run 144 fps that's a different story but if you are asking if your laptop would be able to work with a 144hz monitor then the answer should be yes.

I was in the same boat, I wound up with 5600xt ,I was going to go 1660ti or find a cheap 2060 but then I ran across the 5600xt and read that a little adjustment in Radeon software and it perform suspiciously close to a 5700 for the same price at the time as the 1660ti

it can be because of the "frame rendering" settings. try to reset to default settings. that helped for me.

I also agree with that, a 2080/super is still perfectly fine and doesn't need to be upgraded right now in most situations.

However it's a bit different for 1000 cards, maybe not 1080ti (that one should still be fine also)

And happy new year, everyone! 🍸

The 3080 has better performance, and you can sell the 6800 to make back almost all of what you paid for the 3080 (unless you wanna be a nice gamer and sell it at MSRP)

I think the 3080 is the call here.

If you are impatient get 5600xt
and if you can wait a while then obviously 3060 Ti
and Nvidia will be releasing the 3060 Non Ti model soon and 3050's    So wait a little to find out what they got

    1. Your current rig looks more than capable for either a 3070 or the 3060 Ti.
    2. I’d go for the 3070 over the 3060 Ti. Although quite close in performance, the 3070 is slightly better.
