  1. I'm presuming the "TURBO" is just part of the branding. Asus have a Turbo model for their 3080's as well which is also a blower card so it could be that.
  2. Hi there, My 2080 SUPER has recently started dying so I am currently looking for a new GPU. Currently, my Supplier only has the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 TURBO 10G [GV-N3080TURBO-10GD] in stock. With the current GPU shortage situation and my urgent need for one, I placed the order. I was curious on others experiences with the card and had trouble finding reviews for this card online. I am aware of the card having a blower cooling solution so I am expecting it to be louder than my previous GPU. Ultimately I would not mind the additional noise this card would produce in comparison to the Super. I should also have sufficient cooling for the rest of the PC. The purpose of this post is therefore to find out about other users experience with this card. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced!
  3. Thanks for the input! Looks like I'm going to go with the AMD RYZEN 7 3700x (100-100000071BOX) & GIGABYTE X570-Aorus Elite (GA-X570-AORUS-ELITE)
  4. From looking at benchmarks online it looks as though the Ryzen 7 3700x is quite a bit better than the i7 9700k in most aspects.
  5. I actually made an error and was looking at old prices. I have attached both the Intel and AMD list of CPU's available to me together with this message. I dont mind paying extra if it means I will have better performance for a longer duration of time.
  6. I have the Gigabyte GTX 1060 G1 Gaming 6GB (GV-N1060G1 GAMING-6GD). I was looking at Ryzen too however the store which I get my components from has them listed for a higher price for some reason. Also have very limited options in my current location.
  7. Hi there, Recently my PC has started becoming sluggish and I'm wanting to upgrade. I currently have an i5 6600k,Gigabyte Z170-HD3, Corsair Vengence DDR4-3200MHz and Gigabyte GTX 1060 G1 Gaming 6GB (GV-N1060G1 GAMING-6GD). I plan on keeping the GPU and RAM for the time being and upgrading it in the future. I'm currently unable to watch a stream and play a game at the same time without my CPU maxing out which is something I like to have on in the background. I'm looking at the i7 9700k (BX80684I79700K) and Gigabyte AORUS Z390 GAMING X (GA-Z390-GAMING-X). Are these going to be a significant upgrade to my previous system? Any feedback or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
