Hello,
I have a Powercolor Red dragon RX 580 8gb which I've owned for just under 2 years now. Apart from having the most aggressive stock fan curve speed of any gpu I've ever owned, recently it has been hard crashing my system when gaming (By hard crashing, I mean my entire PC freezes indefinitely and any audio playing at the time of the crash turns into ear rape). The error message I always get is "DISPLAY DEVICE FAILED". I have re-installed windows, updated drivers and changed the settings around with all of my games - same result. While technically being the 'best' graphics card I have ever owned, It is certainly the worst in terms of quality and reliability. If I can't get this issue fixed, I may have to go with Nvidia as my next purchase, as I have never had a problem with any of their cards.
So, does anyone have any ideas as to why my gpu doing this?
Thanks.
