Hi (sorry for capital Us, my U key is broken so am copy/pasting the key) So my rx 580 8gb has been hard crashing my pc for a while (I believe it is a gpU memory issUe) and I am in need of a replacement/Upgrade. DUe to the fact that graphics card prices are Unbearable atm, what do yoU recommend for a price point of aroUnd £500? OR shoUld I wait and see if gpU prices come down? Thanks

Hello, I have a Powercolor Red dragon RX 580 8gb which I've owned for just under 2 years now. Apart from having the most aggressive stock fan curve speed of any gpu I've ever owned, recently it has been hard crashing my system when gaming (By hard crashing, I mean my entire PC freezes indefinitely and any audio playing at the time of the crash turns into ear rape). The error message I always get is "DISPLAY DEVICE FAILED". I have re-installed windows, updated drivers and changed the settings around with all of my games - same result. While technically being the 'best' graphics card I have ever owned, It is certainly the worst in terms of quality and reliability. If I can't get this issue fixed, I may have to go with Nvidia as my next purchase, as I have never had a problem with any of their cards. So, does anyone have any ideas as to why my gpu doing this? Thanks.

hey guys thanks for the suggestions but my gpu spontaneously started working again! so an upgrade isn't needed for a while yet! but thanks anyway

Hello this is my first post. Yesterday i was playing counter strike when my radeon 370 2gb stopped working and just displayed a solid green color, so i think its dead, which sucks so i need a new graphics card but i have no idea where to start. i have heard nvidia are good video cards but my current card which is ATI served me well so idk? my budget is about £150-£200 for a new one and i play games such as counter-strike, gmod, the sims and sometimes minecraft. so thanks for any suggestions my computer components are: fx 6300 3100mhz asus M5A78L-M motherboard 8gb ddr3 memory corsair 430 watts power unit seagate 320gb 7200 rpm hard drive coolermaster case atx thanks for any help
