My last PC was built in 2014 which aged well!
My son is getting into Fortnite on our PS4 and that needs to STOP! For Christmas he will be inheriting my much loved and cared for PC so he can play Roblox like a real GAMER! ?
It is now time for a new PC for me.
MAIN USE:
I don't RECK n00bs on CSGO as often as I used to and I spend 20 hours/week editing 4k videos and photos in Adobe | 30 hours/ week work internet browsing 20+ tabs multiple windows in chrome/ streaming/ Youtube watching |
Only 5-10 hours/week gaming

-Budget $2,000
-I am not married to Intel and I originally wanted to go with an AMD build but they dropped the prices on the 9900K so that’s when I switched over to focusing on the 9900k
But I would love to see what your recommendations are for me with these needs/ wants.
-I like the Corsair Crystal 280x MicroATX Case (NOT MARRIED TO IT)
-30hrs/wk browsing | 20 hrs/wk in Adobe | 10 hrs/wk gaming
-CPU AMD or Intel (Overclocked)
-Cooler I would love to see a water cooled AIO
-GPU has to be Nvidia because I hate working with AMD settings (Needs 2 dp ports plus 1 hdmi)
-Memory 32gb Max (never overclocked my ram but would like to play with it)
-Storage (1-250gb SSD or m.2 for Adobe scratch disk) (1 500gb SSD or m.2 for windows and apps boot) (2-5tb HDD for everything else)
-PSU no preference maybe gold 650w+ modular
MISC wants:
-I am trying to do a white themed build that can be seen from space with RGB ? it is a work horse and an investment and will be proudly displayed on my desk as a talking piece with clients.
-I like the smaller cases
-Quite would be nice
