Hi all, I just moved into a new rental property and bought a dual band WiFi 6 D-Link modem router to go with it. Shortly after getting internet up and running, I noticed that my phone (Oneplus 9 Pro) would lose internet connection randomly but still connected to the wifi. There would be an exclamation mark in the wifi symbol and under wifi settings and it would say "no internet". Switching bands, turning on and off the wifi on my phone would fix the issue but shortly after, it'll disconect again. Under 'Privacy' on my phone's wifi settings, I tried changing from 'Use Random MAC (default)' to 'Use device MAC', that hasn't helped either. Also tried updating the router's firmware to the latest version. Strange thing is that when the disconnect happens and phone says 'no internet', I cant even access the router's config page (192.168.1.1). Also to clarify, this issue is only happening to my phone, no other devices in the household have experienced this. As someone who isn't very network savvy, I'm kinda stumped. Look forward to any suggestions the community may have. Cheers

I came across OnePlus 8 series listings while browsing in the OnePlus 7T Pro sub-category on Opportmart.com Take all these details with a grain of salt but since it was listed on Oppomart with Oppo being basically OnePlus's parent company (underneath BBK) these info should be fairly accurate. Hi I recently got a new Acer XF270HU QHD 144Hz monitor. But I'm having trouble running games at 144hz as they all detect it as 60hz. I went into nvidia control panel and made sure the setting is at 144hz. However when I was digging through the monitor settings I noticed it says frequency is "v.60hz" Im guessing it mean its stuck at 60hz? I have no idea what's happened. Im using the Displayport 1.2 cable that came with the monitor which should support 2K at 144hz.

Okay so I tried using my old psu cables again, it came up with a post 53. Then I removed all but 1 stick of RAM but showed 68, tried a different dimm slot then it showed post 66

I decided to upgrade my desktop to the x299 platform. Got the 7820X, Asus x299-A Mobo, G.Skill Trident RGB 3200 (4 x 8gb) and kraken x62 AIO Cooler I wanted to use sleeved cables from cablemod so i made sure the ones I purchased was compatible with my PSU (EVGA SuperNova G2 750W) I made sure everything was plugged in, Double checked the 24pin and the 8 pin ATX power and the other 4 pin ATX power towards the top. When I switch the power on for the PSU, only the lights for the Mobo comes on, no light from the ram or the cooler. Two indicator LEDs also comes on for the GPU. Pressing the power button on either the case or the mobo makes a tick sound from the psu but nothing else happens. No Post on the mobo either. This is probably still a power issue with some of my cabling. Any help would be appreciated. Edit- No fans spin either

Hello everyone I've been thinking of upgrading my laptop. Currently I own a MSI GS70 Stealth pro 6QE (6700HQ, 8GB DDR4 @ 2133mhz, 120GB NVMe SSD, 1tb hdd, 17.3" matte display). Mainly want to upgrade because it is a little bit on the large and heavy side and the battery doesnt exactly last long. Also wanting something with more ram due to my uni degree. I've got an interested buyer at AUD$2300/USD$1820. Would you say thats a good price to sell it at? As for a replacement laptop, Im currently looking at 2 options both being the 14" razerblade. One is the 6700HQ 1TB SSD option, the other is the 7700HQ 512GB SSD. Would you rather have the 1tb option with the skylake or the newer kabylake but at half the ssd size? I am currently studying CGI/VFX so the softwares I use such as Nuke and Houdini FX chews through RAM. Thanks

Hi this started a while ago but never wanted to look into it till now. Everytime I leave my laptop idle for maybe around 10mins, the CPU usage would automatically jump to 100% usage. It didnt always use to be CPU, it only started happening in the last couple days, before it use to be GPU at 100% usage. Then as soon as I move my mouse cursor the process disappears completely from task manager. I tried to track down its location but didnt have any sucess, only vds.exe I could find was in system32 folder. Others online have suggested to look in the temp or appdata folder.
