  1. Budget (including currency): 1200$ CAD Country: CANADA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: GAMES AND EDITING Other details : postpone gpu for when new gpus drop so budget would be like maybe 700-800$ for the rest.
  2. i dont know about mic but i found that the philips shp9500 or the x2hr are really good headphones for like decent price. i think the shps are like 75 ish and the x2hr from when i bought it was like 120. if you get the shps then you could spend the other 75 on like a separate mic or something idk. they are wired though not wireless.
  3. So previously on welcome to my problems, my brothers pc broke , got a new mobo and cpu, amd 3600 and a a b450 d3sh i think. The ssd didnt work for booting so i took my ssd from my intel machine to boot his computer, it worked and it went through a setup process. By that we know that the other ssd was broken or something so i put my ssd back into my machine, it booted went through a windows setup process again but now everything i hear is like being anplified, peaking in sound and an echo. No settings were changed , just simply booted an amd machine then rebooted on intel machine and the audio shit the bed. Anyone know whats going on or how to fix this? Oh my intel chip is a i7 6700 idk what my motherboard is, msi something.
  4. Wow plugging in the gpu actually worked. Which is odd because it didnt work before ... Anyway thank you, it seems the problem was like a mixture of stuff, my brothers old ssd wouldnt work, after we plugged in the gpu, so we will get a new ssd and everything should be dandy. tHanks
  5. Cpu - Ryzen 3600 mobo - b450m ds3h gigabyte case - some cheap cooler master corsair case gpu - gtx 1070 psu - evga 650 w gold
  6. Ive made a previous post about replacing a new cpu and mobo for my brother and i just recieved them and installed them into the pc, ive also swapped out working ssd and ram from my own pc praying it would work, i havent plugged in gpu yet and the pc still doesnt display any signal. Ive replaced the monitor with my own working monitor also. I dont understand what to do , help. so total new case new cpu new mobo working ram 1 stick for testing tested multiple displays swapped psu swapped ssds for my working one havnt plugged in gpu yet and it turns on, fans spin lights turn on but no display signal. Im stumped.
  7. where can i get a ryzen 3300x online ? i found this one https://www.newegg.com/amd-ryzen-3-3300x-ryzen-3-3rd-gen/p/N82E16819113648?Item=N82E16819113648 but its out of stock should i just buy and wait for a restock ?
  8. so the ryzen 3300x comes out in july? if so then id probably will have to preorder and wait, and is this motherboard fine for it? https://www.amazon.com/GIGABYTE-B450M-DS3H-Ryzen-Motherboard/dp/B07FWVJSHC this just happens to be the cheapest 4 slot ram mobo i could find.
  9. My brothers computer shit the bed and ive replaced psu, swapped ram, took out gpu, etc and many more troubleshooting things, ive also swapped motherboards and nothing is getting it to post so im assuming the cpu is dead because i swapped the motherboard twice. I am done working on it so ive decided to just buy a new cpu and mobo. What cpu and motherboard should be good that is available to get now? At first i wanted a ryzen 1600 af and motherbord but i cant find it anywhere for cheap anymore online. Technically theres no budget but id like to keep the cpu and mobo and as cheap as possible, while being as good or better than the previous cpu. The cpu I used to have was a i7 6700. Also the parts i have right now also are 32 gb ddr4 ram(4x8), 650w psu and a gtx 1070 and a cheap corsair closed water loop cpu cooler radiator thingie. And possibility to upgrade gpu later down the road. If can provide links to like amazon or newegg thanks. Want to fix this comp asap.
  10. Thanks for the replies ! I will use your part list with 1-2 modifications! Thanks for letting me know about the kinguin thing will really save 70$ for windows.
  11. My previous pc got stolen... so now I'm building a new one for around 1200$, I'm fine if it goes a little above 1200, definitely not above 1250$. I haven't kept up with computers lately so i havn't a clue about what to get for parts. I'm running 1 monitor at 1440p, 144 hz , 1 ms GTG , g sync compatible. I'd also prefer to run a non-stock air cooler, and lots of rgb. oh and I will be using this to play games and stream. I already have peripherals also, and I need windows os. as for storage I'd like something like 2 tb of space not hdd.
