  1. Why are you replying to something that was resolved nearly two years ago?
  2. That's not really a guarantee there won't be a bad unit. It's like a lottery. It's not likely to happen that you get a bad unit, but that doesn't mean it's impossible to happen.
  3. Yes, though SSDs have their lifespan measured by how much data can be written to them in total. Mainly load times.
  4. SSDs are sure to last a very long time.
  5. Your PC setup? Yeah, no thanks. I'd rather not see something like what The Verge would build.
  6. Yeah...No. Front and side are for intake. Back and top, exhaust. It really can't be simpler.
  7. Wait, wait, wait...fans at the top for intake? Seriously?
  8. If that were true, I'm sure finding a guide on how to do so is equally as easy.
  9. It did sound ridiculous to me too, but it wouldn't hurt to make sure.
  10. The ASUS website has 850W listed for the recommended PSU for use with the Arez RX560 4G EVO card. How accurate are recommendations like this?
  11. Current case: Sharkoon VG4-V Planned cooler: Gelid Solutions Phantom
  12. For a future build I'm planning, I bought a CPU cooler for use in it. I compared the specs of the cooler with those of my current case and found the cooler's height is exactly the maximum that I can use in my current case. Is keeping the same case recommended for the future build?
  13. When I bought my current laptop, it came with a thin sheet of fabric (I think?) between the screen and the keyboard. What is this for and do I need to keep it?
  14. I prefer MicroATX with no OC, as I don't really need that many PCIe slots (1 GPU/graphics card and 1 wi-fi card, that's it) or OC.
  15. Something else I've been wondering about while searching for motherboards earlier: does it matter whether the PCIe x1 slot is above or below the x16 slot on the board?
  16. 1. Noted. 2. What I meant there is I have those specific components already with me, ready for when I'm starting the actual build.
  17. Right now, I do have some of the planned components in: 2 x 8 GB DDR4 2400, a PCIe wi-fi card, a CPU cooler and a DVD drive with the planned processor being Ryzen 5 2600. Still planning on what to choose for the components I don't yet have. As far as overclocking goes, I don't really have any plans to do so.
  18. I'm planning to buy a MicroATX AM4 motherboard in the future, but I have to wonder: How do I figure out what the best chipset is for my needs?
