Also...if anyone could give me a quick "VRM 101 course" it would be OP. I always struggle with this topic. I'm never to sure about the phases and all that. For exemple, I'm still struggling to understand what's the best option between, 3+3/4+3 or 6+2... Need halp pwease.

Hi guys, I'm looking to buy the best value motherboard possible. Keep in mind that I want to be able to Overclock my R5 2600 to at least 4.0ghz. I use to have a first gen R5 1400 and I was able to achieve 3.9ghz stable. I was even able to get to 4.1ghz for a while (unstable of course). That's what is bringing me here, although my CPU (trooper) survived the intensity of my beginner overclocking abilities. My motherboard, a simple but good enough MSI MORTAR B350 died in the process. It got so hot that you can see burn marks (discoloration) around the VRM. Long story short, I'm in need of a new mobo. But this time I really want to get opinions before I buy. Btw, I know I kinda ask for it...I've pushed it to far. I'm really just looking for a good mobo. That can overclock a bit, nothing crazy. Also if it as RGB, it would be a plus.
