  1. So it seems my Zotac 2070 Super AMP was scrapped because I sent it in for repair. About 1,5 months ago I discovered that one fan on my 2070 Super was making an irritating noise after some time of normal no load usage. I contacted Zotac if they would be able to help me with this issue. As they did not have any replacement fans for the device they told me to get in contact with the merchant where I bought the card. Here I was told to send the card in for a repair. I did so and waited. Last Friday I received a mail that a partial refund (ca 70%) for my card was issued. I got worried but the support hotline was already offline when I read the mail. Today I called and was told that the manufacturer deemed the card unrepairable, probably scrapped it and issued a refund. The deduction of the full retail price was "justified" as I used the card for almost a year (not sure if this is legal in my country). So yeah of course there are no GPUs available if they are actively taken from the market while still being usable. I am still in contact with the merchant and told them I am not accepting a refund and want my card or a comparable one back. Zotac told me there is not much they can do as it was handled with the merchant, but their policy is to refund the full price of the card. TLDR: Send my card in for repair because of fan noise. Card was deemed unrepairable and scrapped. Got refunded 70% of what I originally payed.
  2. Hi, i want to upgrade my rig to a Ryzen5 3600 and need a new Mainboard. I am looking for something in the 150€/170$ price segment. I was thinking of the MSI Gaming Plus MAX as it supports 2 M2 and has a lot of USB Ports. But i read that MSI is not recommended. Can someone give me some recommendations.
