  1. does this happen to other games?
  2. In gaming and some work loads(Autocad, Dialux, skectchup, and programs of the same nature plus coding) what does that translate to?
  3. hi i just want to ask if a 3000 Mhz CL 16 ram is better than a 3200 Mhz CL18 ? also is Team Elite Vulcan TUF 16gb 2x8 Memory 3000mhz Ddr4 CL16-18-18-38 compatible with ryzen 3000?
  4. In general, dust filters reduces airflow. depending on the type of filters, it can go as low as half of the airflow the fans are made for. though some actually uses Static pressure fans when you have filters. also, i think you can omit the top filter if its an exhaust. that will just keep the dust inside lol
  5. i mean, what ram should i get? im asking for opinions on what to get since im kinda having problems with clearances and pricing.
  6. it depends on the case. some case have bottom intake to top exhaust and some have front intake and back exhaust and some have a mix of both. depending on the orientation, it will be like front intake, back exhaust, Horizontal bottom intake, top exhaust, vertical mix = whichever has higher intake. preferably, the intake will go straight to the heat sink then straight to the exhaust.
  7. Hi, so im currently looking for some ram (i fcked up and killed my ram :/) . one of my ram survived but im not risking on staying with it. all my ram slots are still working so yea. I plan on getting anything low profile ram but im kinda stuck with a budget limit of about $50-$80 . currently im looking at : Team Elite Vulcan TUF 16gb 2x8 Memory 3200mhz Ddr4 CL 18 and Team Elite Vulcan TUF 16gb 2x8 Memory 3000mhz Ddr4 CL 16 and i can still get others if its available in my country (Philippines). corsair vengeance LPX is kinda overpriced in my country (can go as high as $120 for a 3200 mhz two sticks) reason i want a low profile ram is because my cooler covers like two of the first ram slots(unless i move the fan to the other side of the heat sink.) #LifeOfGIantHeatSinks . it has about around 34mm of clearance. also, im kinda tempted to just move the fan to the side since i saw trident royal Z (3000 mhz 16gb 8x2 DDR4) for like $80... edit: Also, what do you guys think of doing this configuration. first slot and second slot: Low profile ram(2x 4 gb) third and fourth slot: trident z royal (2x 8gb) both running on same speed and latency. doing so makes me still have the dual channel configuration but making the aesthetics of the royal still visible since the last two slots is not covered by the cpu cooler edit again: This is for ryzen 5 3600
  8. the % loading in the CPU is based on the capacity on how much it can handle, not how fast it can handle it.
  9. you can get one of the two. one has a better controller though.
  10. i think there was a lawsuit against this and many people from California or something gets their money back from buying these? Edit: https://www.theverge.com/circuitbreaker/2019/8/28/20837336/amd-12-million-false-advertising-class-action-lawsuit-bulldozer-chips I found this news and they dooo
  11. maybe the games are syncing up the cloud via cloud save which causes the CPU/Disk/Ram to go sky high and causing lag?
  12. Oh. thats a bit sad. check the motherboard website of your board then check for the bios for 2nd or third gen ryzen. if there is an option for third gen ryzen, get the 3600 instead. if there is none but there is a bios for second gen ryzen, get the 2600 or 2700 instead. i have a B350 board with a 3600 and it runs quite well at abour 4.175 Ghz on PB2
  13. 2600 hands down. that thing scores 3 times more cores. heck it performs a lot better. plus you can overclock it.
  14. ye, you are already running in dual channel so i think youre good but might want to close some apps in the background since not many games even consume more than 6gb ram. if you still have some extra, just get another set of 2x 4gb DDR4 ram with the same speed as your current ram. So considering your PC, priorities would be CPU>GPU>RAM>STORAGE
