  1. I think the 980ti might be more of a shout. The 5700 is about RM300 more than 1660ti. Thank you for the suggestion for that, I forgot the 980ti existed, as bad as that sounds
  2. My brother does play some games, Overwatch and Rainbow 6, but for the most part, this PC is supposed to be for his video editing, although if you ask him he wants to stream. I'm not sure about the fans because there is not much choice on most of the websites I checked for fans, so I just picked whatever and hoped it would fit. This is also my first time trying AMD so I'm not very sure about the differences in generation between the 2700X and the 3700X.
  3. I am not sure if my brother wants to sell off the PC for parts. Currently it has 12GB 2333mhz RAM and a Nvidia 750ti 2GB, along with an older transcend 128GB SSD. If possible, a new PC would be nice, and even if we don't manage to sell the old one off, I might be able to use it for my work as it might not need as much power as my brother's workload.
  4. Hi, I am planning on saving up for a new PC as the one that I have currently is a 6th generation i5. My brother uses this PC for his video editing and as of late we have started to feel a bit of the age on it, especially when editing and rendering larger files. I am planning on getting an AMD Ryzen based PC, because we heard that it is better for editing. We are from Malaysia and the budget we have sort of planned out is about RM5000, or about $1200. So far the one that I have planned is this, but any help would be really appreciated! Also, if you can suggest any cuts we can make to the cost without affecting the quality of work being done that would also be much appreciated. The first image is a PC built using pcpartpicker.com. Some of the parts might have to be ordered from overseas, so I am not sure what the final price might be. The second image is from a local PC builder, but they don't have some parts that I want to use so I just put some placeholder parts that are about the same, as far as I know.
