  1. You sound like one of those dudes that Linus was talking about. The price of the phone isn't reduced in any way because of a tax write off. If I'm a business and my profit was $1000, I used all that money to buy the phone and I write it off. I pay $0 income tax but the phone still cost me $1000! You don't gain any money from a tax write off.
  2. Don't think they claim anything about being unbiased. No review/opinion can be free of bias.
  3. As a Floatplaner who has watched the interview, it's nothing serious. It's mostly just 2 old friends reminiscing about old NCIX times and laugh about Terren Tong's first weeks amidst all the August chaos. They also talked about their favourite games, just like any other "Meet-the-team". They owe the fans nothing. This reminded me of a guy gifting flowers/rings/car to a girl and getting all upset because the girl didn't love him back.
  4. There are actual mystery shopping jobs which require them to shop, test companies customer service and provide feedback.
  5. Sounds like a dystopian future where everyone is strapped to something while having zero human interaction. Best part about family watching TV together is the sharing of popcorn, meals, cuddling with partner on a sofa, laughing and crying together and discussing certain scenes live while looking at your family members facial expression. I wouldn't want to replace all that with a fake projection of eyes.
  6. Oh now the goal post has shifted from 'false advertising' to 'a lack of adequate testing breaking law' Yes there are test related to safety but I have never heard of tests checking whether a product is meeting its spec. Please furnish such laws that you mention of. Besides, they did their testing and at some point of time, the manufacturer just decided to cut cost.
  7. lol at "false advertising". False advertising meant that the advertiser deliberately and intentionally made a false or misleading statement. The real funny part is that Linus expose this issue himself cutting the bag live. I don't think you can ever call that false advertising. You're getting emotional here. It's not like the bottom layer is going to wear out under normal use. And if it did, you can get a NEW and FREE replacement bag! And at the end of the day, if you're not happy you can just refund it. So I'm not sure what laws you are talking about.
  8. I think this is highly unlikely due to the associated costs. It's like providing a new backpack for tens of thousands of buyers, covering the shipping cost for all of their returns and they end up with a warehouse full of used backpacks.
  9. Almost 3 days in, legend says you are still finding the source. Is this the trend nowadays? Dishing out some outlandish, almost slander conspiracy take and then just disappearing when people corrects you.
  10. But why? You could say it's to encourage others to donate as well
  11. Yvonne donated her $5000 that was for her AMD upgrade to BC Children Hospital, according to the video. But then when there are people on the Internet critisizing them for bragging about this donation, I would understand when they dont this kind of things often in public. Besides, they are not obligated to.
  12. Newsflash: Leather is also considered a byproduct since those animals were killed mainly for meat. Perhaps those who are avocating for vegan leather are also vegetarian themselves? Also raising animal requires more resources than growing vegetables and plants.
  13. I know this is a extremely difficult concept to understand but please try: LMG staff tested the screwdriver design using 3D printing BEFORE mass production.
  14. Quick to judge aren't you? Newsflash: Madison made tonnes of sexual comments and jokes too. Is that not okay for you too?
  15. Dont think their business is life and death kind of critical. The same reason they refused to get a networking professional to come in and manage their stuff for a long time. It's free content when things happened. They have their backups so everything will be fine, the hackers are their free testers.
