  1. Yeah so it would be roughly the same cost if I sold my 2060 in both scenarios, wasn't sure if I was just being impatient or if it was a smart deal, so cheers!
  2. @Brok3n But who cares? 2060 base (MSI twin frozr). Sorry if I didn't make it clear, but the seller is looking for $500 as well, it's the GPU plus $130
  3. Don't plan on a proper upgrade to either 3000 Series or 6000 series until next year, but I have been offered a 1080ti strix for my 2060 plus £100 ($130USD) is a worthwhile swap. I use my PC for gaming and some 3D modelling. It's worth noting there's also a 2070Super Strix for £400 ($530USD) for sale near me which works out about the same price after selling my 2060
  4. Cheers for the replies all! Obviously I'll have to wait and see what the actual performance figures are, but you all made fantastic points, a lot to take away
  5. Running a 3600, unsure about wether to wait for 2070supers/2080s to drop in price or just go straight to 3070, concerned about possible bottlenecks. I know theres going to be a lot of info to come out about RTX30xx series, but looking to run 1440p gaming. Any thoughts? Currently running a 2060
  6. I know it's not quite 100 quid, but still for 165, that's not too bad a deal especially if its for an ITX build https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MSI-NVIDIA-GEFORCE-GTX-1070-8GB-AERO-ITX-GRAPHIC-CARD/392703609067?hash=item5b6ef588eb:g:vYwAAOSwv-leVvrk
  7. Yeah, that's what I opted on doing. I also switched my RAM back to an older set I had that was only 3000MHz, this resulted in a score of about 3550, which is a massive improvement, that was running at 4.1 with 1.35V. Seems much more sensible, I'll definitely be RMAing the set I had
  8. Reset to 1.325V at 4GHz and got 3344. Dont know what to do with that
  9. Yeah, its not been a change that I've been running long. I'm resetting to factory and starting from scratch. Trying not to use Ryzen Master and instead using Bios, but clearly I'm doing something wrong
  10. I was using 1.4V @ 4200MHz PBO on disabled, 3600Mhz 16GB RAM at CL18, score with those settings was 3429. Anything else I should look at?
  11. I've been playing about with OC for a little while now and for some reason when Benchmarking it in R20 my scores have been getting progressively lower (down to 3150 now!), I've had it at various speeds, played about with the voltages and tried configuring PBO. I have no idea what's causing this drop, temps are sitting at approximately 65 Celsius, speeds registering correctly for the various OC's, but the score never seems to go above 3600. Any tips?
  12. UPDATE: reinstalled my old RAM, turned XMP to auto and set the speed to detect 3600, worked like a charm
  13. Yeah, completely agree. I'm only running off a 75hz monitor just now, but theres an upgrade path to my full set up. It's running most games at a solid 80fps at high, which is fine on my current monitor. I'll probably get a new monitor at 120hz and then upgrade GPU to a 5700xt, or wait for the new 3000 series launch to see how competitive the pricing is.
  14. Upgraded my first build with a new Dark Rock Slim for bequiet! Along with 2 new 140mm Silent wings 3's for intake. This was a nice addition to my system I think. It was first built at the start of the new year, so didnt want to have any major upgrade yet, which I'll save for later on this year! Any suggestions for the best tiles to upgrade and any changes you'd have made?
