  1. It doesn't need 550w. It could be run on a 400w PSU from what I recall. Especially since you only have a i5-2400. Though, you could just pay the extra $10 for the Kolink Enclave if you are unsure.
  2. For a real budget PSU that's still decent, the be quiet! System Power 9 500w For a better budget PSU, the Kolink Enclave 600w is good There's also the Corsair TXM 550w The CXM costs about as much as the TXM in the UK, looking at the major retailers. Might as well get a better PSU for the price.
  3. The spreadsheet is the most up-to-date in the Changelog tab. The OP only gets updated when Luke updates it, but there are more people with editing perms on the spreadsheet who can update more frequently. So you are going to see some discrepancies, like how the EA Gold Pro is separated in the spreadsheet to Tier A normal for the GM version and Tier A low priority for the FM version while the OP still has only the EA Gold Pro in general as Tier A low priority. Basically, go off the spreadsheet. D Green is Tier D, non-D Green is Tier C (from what I can tell)
  4. For help choosing a power supply please Create a New Thread asking for assistance including your budget and system hardware to receive the best answers relevant to your specific needs. But since I'm here with a comment anyway, the bequiet! Pure Power 11 600w if you are from the US.
  5. The Focus GX is Tier A. The Tier B is the Core series.
  6. Wait, where are you buying from? I'm seeing the Earthwatt Gold Pro 750w on Amazon for $99.99, in stock November 4th, unless you aren't from the US. Of course, I would still pay the extra $10 for the Thermaltake GF1 since it has full modularity and a 3 year longer warranty.
  7. That's the AP-GM, also know as Aorus GM, which is the older model. This is a completely new model that has nothing known about it other than apparently a high DOA rate from reviews. The GH was Tier A, but it's been confirmed by jonnyGURU contacting CWT, that there is no OTP present, making it a Tier C PSU. Get a Thermaltake GF1 PE for $110. 10 year warranty, still fully-modular, and it's one of the best in Tier A (apparently). Or if you don't care about modularity, the Antec Earthwatts Gold Pro 750w Semi-modular is $99.99, IIRC
  8. B700H is just BH in the tier list (with most PSU, just remove the wattage number and you have to model), and it's Tier D As for the Antec EAG Pro, an easy way is to see how much wattage the +12V can deliver on the sticker. See how in the first pic, the +12V wattage is close to the total wattage in the Seasonic version, while in the FSP (Chinese) version, it's only rated for 600w for the 650w version compared to the Seasonic's 648w
  9. Personally, the P650B would be the best choice for under $70, though I heard the MWE V2 Bronze is better (the full-range input version, like the pic you have implies, not the 230V only) if you can stretch the budget a little.
  10. P400A TD500 Mesh Lancool II Mesh Pure Base 500DX Meshify C Corsair 275R Airflow NR600 Metallic Gear Neo Air Cougar MX330 (and it's variants, like MX330-G Air) Edit: 4000D Airflow, lancool 215
  11. It can, saying this as a guy who OC'd a 9900k and 2080 on a crap PSU that's not as good (still in my signature, but I'm waiting for my new PSU to come next week and have been running stock for a while). I wouldn't do it though since you are going to change it out anyway, and the performance difference isn't that much.
  12. Performance wise, the P400A if it's the three fan RGB one, looking at charts from GamersNexus. P400A is also slightly larger so you'll have room for some of the larger GPUs. Personally I like the P400A aesthetics but the 220T is good for those tight builds.
  13. THat Deepcool is the DQ-M-V2L (you can see it on the side of the PSU), which is Tier C low priority. This is the DQ-M You can tell since it doesn't have that turquoise color on the side. It just says GamerStorm.
  14. That Deepcool isn't the good one that you are probably mistaking it for. @chainy Depends on the price. My priority if they are all similar prices (ignoring wattages): Corsair HX, Enermax D.F., Antec HCP Platinum, Adata Core Reactor, Chieftec PowerPlay, Deepcool DQ-M-V2L. Taking wattage into account: Corsair HX, Antec HCP Platinum, Adata Core Reactor, Enermax D.F., Chieftec Powerplay, Deepcool DQ-M-V2L. Out of all of them, the Enermax is probably the cheapest and my personal pic. If you can get the Corsair HX or Adata Core Reactor for around the same price as the Enermax, I would get those. The PowerPlay and HCP Platinum are overkill, and the price difference might be huge. Forget the DQ-M-V2L entirely.
  15. How about you use a PSU with reviews instead of relying on blind faith with a brand. Also old versions doesn't mean that the newer ones will be better.
  16. ET-HG is Tier B, the ET-B is a completely different model.
  17. Brand =/= quality either. Had this discussion multiple times in this thread. Brand's have both good, bad, and mediocre PSUs, like the Cooler Master V Platinum, the Cooler Master Elite and Cooler Master MWE V2 Bronze respectively. That PSU you are looking at (from what I can tell) is group-regulated, which isn't something that is good for anything other than budget builds/office PCs
  18. It wouldn't be wise to use such a cheaply made PSU for high-end and expensive tech.
  19. No professional reviews yet, so no info to go on. Just find a PSU with reviews instead, if you need one now. Until then, you gotta wait.
  20. Yeah, the AP-GM is the Aorus model. The one you are looking at is a newer model with 0 reviews at all. It'll probably be decent like the AP-GM, but I would look for other PSUs if possible. We can help as long as you give a country and budget (preferably in the local currency)
