  1. Coil whine was my first thought as well, but coil whine is almost invariably described as high-pitched. This sound is not high pitched.
  2. I recently installed a PowerColor Red Devil 5700 XT video card in my system. It performs quite well, and in terms of fan noise is really quiet. However, when under load it makes a fairly loud intermittent buzzing noise. This noise is not tied to fan speed, but does seem to be related to frame rate. I've attached an audio file, which may or may not be useful as it's not a great recording. The noise in question starts at ~5sec. powercolor_red_devil_noise.m4a I tried swapping in a different, more powerful, and likely better quality PSU. This significantly reduced the noise, but didn't eliminate it entirely. Does anyone have any other fixes to suggest, beyond an even more powerful & higher quality PSU? Many thanks!
