  1. Ok I am having issues with my gpu stuttering and the only indication of the issue is every now and then the whole os will hitch, but it doesn't happen frequently. However, it does it enough to cause overwatch to crash with a report of rendering device lost and it also causes my VR system to crash as well. I have done everything i can think of. full memory testing, DDU the drivers in safe mode and reinstall, whole os wipe and reinstall, i tore the whole thing apart, made sure everything was cleaned and seated properly, there are no thermal issues as my gpu never peaks above 65C, I did a full hard drive test as well with no errors thrown on anything. 3D mark fails to complete as well, but the error doesn't only occur during stress it can happen anytime. There is no way it is hardware either as I have upgraded incrementally the gpu, cpu, mobo, ram, and power supply over the last few months and the error has occurred the entire time. No overclocking whatsoever, other than the xmp profile for my ram, which i have turned off to no avail. Bios are up to date as well. specs: Mobo: Asus B550-F Ryzen 3600 ASUS DUAL RTX 2060 SUPER EVO OC V2 2x8 trident royal 3600 800 watt evga power supply
  2. So I've never had any dealings with amd gpus, but I went out on a limb and bought an rx5700xt because it seemed to have comparable performance to a 2070 super. My question: is there anything in particular I should know before installing? Current rig: Ryzen 1600 EVGA 600 watt psu 16gig Corsair vengeance 3000 Rx 5700xt
