  1. i am thinking about purchasing either asus tuf fx505dt or asus ROG strix G core tuf have 120hz screen & 45% ntsc rog one does not mention about the srgb or ntsc in product description but i found some websites which claim 130% srgb & 98% ntsc my budget is around 70k indian rupee but my choose of brand is limited to asus or dell because of bad or no after sales service by other brands Tuf : https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B07RRQBC1S/ ROG: https://www.flipkart.com/asus-rog-strix-g-core-i5-9th-gen-8-gb-512-gb-ssd-windows-10-home-4-graphics-g531gt-bq002t-gaming-laptop/p/itmfg9yrygyxdxwm? what do you think which one should i pick ? or should i wait for 10th gen laptops ?
  2. i am considering to buy laptop for mostly programming & casual gaming i am thinking about ASUS TUF series but i had horrible experience with fx505 so IDK if i should buy 505 or not i heard the heating & power throttling issues have been solved in 505 but i just want to be sure i usually play CS GO & APEX legends (low graphics is fine) the heavy software's i use are android studio, photoshop & virtual box (for emulator & using linux) i am considering these 2 https://www.amazon.in/FX505DD-Graphics-5-3550H-Windows-FX505DD-AL185T/dp/B07RQM12TR/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=tuf+fx505&qid=1574457331&smid=A14CZOWI0VEHLG&sr=8-5 https://www.amazon.in/FX505DT-Graphics-5-3550H-Windows-FX505DT-AL202T/dp/B07RRQBC1S/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=tuf+fx505&qid=1574457331&smid=A14CZOWI0VEHLG&sr=8-3 but IDK how ryzen performs in laptops, a few years back i heard that softwares are not working properly & ryzen is heating a lot in laptops almost similar variant (intel) is also available https://www.amazon.in/FX505GD-Graphics-i5-8300H-Windows-FX505GD-BQ136T/dp/B07VQLS8MQ/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=tuf+fx505&qid=1574457588&smid=A14CZOWI0VEHLG&sr=8-5 the new rog strix g core series a bit expensive & i so i am considering them i dont want to go to other brands because MSI, ACER, HP, Lenovo. they all have very bad after sales service in my city so i am stuck with asus
  3. Like ? Btw i am from India so if you are from US or UK there is a good chance that a lot of laptops you have there m, they are not launched here or they were launched at a hich price I also sent you a pm with all the details Was hoping you will reply there
  4. But still Is 44% sRGB is enough ? Or i should go for 66% sRGB Or i should atleast look for 80+% sRGB ?
  5. Let's say the resolution is full hd, i will purchase a laptop in few days & a new 24 inch monitor in few months So just want to know how much sRGB & Adobe RGB rating i should look for... And no i am not a professional so the accuracy dosent matter that much It i also don't want very poor colors
  6. For a non content creator & just a normal user who used the screen for mild gaming ,browsing internet & stuff How much sRGB & Adobe RGB rating is good enough ?
  7. Asus ROG Strix G Core i5 9th Gen - (8 GB/1 TB HDD/256 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home/4 GB Graphics) G531GT-BQ024T Gaming Laptop Is it a good laptop for almost 900 dollars ? ( I live in India so prices are high here)
  8. Can you tell us what software you will be using ? & Which language you will be using ? And i think you should look into asus rog strix g core series I think they are priced OK for the looks & specs If if you want something more cheaper look into MSI laptop I think you should look for an i5 9th gen laptop with atleast gtx1050, a good screen & keyboard and atleast 8gb ram (even this config will be overkill for most of the basic programming softwares but i think you should atleast get this specs) PS I am no expert Just trying to help
  9. The current PC I have is Pentium dual core, with 2 gb ddr2 ram, no GPU & a 150 gb hdd ?
