  1. So I saw a thread with this same Memory to Set XMP, manually type in the first 6 timings, CHange volt to 1.35 (already on that), Set Multiplier to 32x (can not find that only can select DDR4-3200 and obviously others I am thinking this is the same thing?) Tried to do a Memtest64 got 6 errors in 6 passes. moved it to 1.365 V and still got errors, someone mentioned higher V. I have now set all the same except change it to DDR4 3000. And i got no errors on 6 passes. I dont know what to do here.
  2. I think it is the ram. if i turn off XMP it has no errors when running a memtest 64 for 10 passes where as before it had a few. Im not sure what to do to get this to run at the speed the MB and processor will allow.
  3. Had a virus so I wiped the system. Reinstalled everything it works well but I get random Bsods and can not figure it out or how to understand DMP files. Here is the out put I have but also will attach DMP file if anyone can read it and tell me whats up. I have about 10 Bsods in the last 4 days. Usually all different. Please also include the following information: OS - Windows 8.1, 8, 7, Vista ? WIN10Home x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? X64 What OS was originaly installed on the system? New build Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from a retailer)? Full Retail Version Age of system (hardware) less then 1 week Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? less then 24 hours CPU model: Ryzen 7 2700 Video Card model: MSI RX 580 8 GB Armor MotherBoard - (if NOT a laptop) Asus Prime X370-Pro Power Supply - brand & wattage (if laptop, skip this) Corsair RM750x System Manufacturer ME Exact model number (if OEM or laptop) Laptop or Desktop? 4. sorry been a min. The location needs to do there job and run a longer test. 1 pass is garbage and we all know it.
  5. Try another monitor anyways! you never know. BUT im thinking this is a software issue somewhere, Always run Native to what your monitor runs at, its best. Unless you have a 4k monitor and want to run 1080 go for it. Just search everything that has Scaling or resolution or what not. Let us know!
  6. Very nice! If you bought all of this at a local store, I would reach them, usually stores will swap you out right there. Just a quicker turn around for you! BUT if that doesn't work call manufacture and let them know what happened and that you figured it out with MEMTest86+. They will surely replace them. and let them know it was not a fun ride. sometimes they will hook you up with goodies. Just saying!
  7. awesome thank you! sorry for a long wait. Couple questions things to try: Does your GPU fans spin? Yes - Power down and unplug the power cord. Remove GPU power cord from PSU Remove GPU. Visually inspect your graphics and PCI slot to the best of your ability. DO not use canned air or blow anything. Reseat your GPU gently, force is not necessary. A little it okay. Plug power back in to card. Plug computer in try to boot Still not working, maybe try the GPU in another computer you have or a friends. this way we can see if it is the card not the board. Clear CMOS No- Power machine down Unplug power to GPU and use a different GPU power cord If that does not work, then try to clear CMOS. Clear CMOS - power system down. REMOVE CMOS battery Short the Jumper for 10 sec. Put CMOS battery back in. POwer the system and try to boot. Try to boot your system with 1 monitor not 2. Also try different ports on the GPU for your monitor, try a different cord. the VGA light tells you it isnt detecting a GPU. so these steps should help you. IF you HAVE done these, just try them another time. Also right after you turn the computer on hit the 'DELETE' Key multiple times to get into bios. who knows it may override something and give you a display so you can load defaults.
  8. correct, if your wireless and dont have the driver for that card it wont work at all because it will need a driver. if you have an android phone. look up the driver on your phone download and plug your phone into your computer booted in safe mode drag and drop driver/software to your desktop and install/ your wifi card will then work. i would also create a brand new usb install stick with a fresh copy of downloaded windows media creation tool.
  9. can you list all your specs please? anything else that you have done latley like updated drivers or changed a setting?
  10. my question for you is. did you have the entire computer unplugged? Reason I ask is if your pulling the CMOS battery out but your still plugged into power. It will not do anything. your jumper SHOULD do the trick. But also how much was a little bit moving the clocks? the fact that you kept V at auto that should have made everything safe. if you push power button do you hear anynoise? does it sound like its trying to start up or is it there nothing? if your not hearing anything your GPU could be fine but the system isnt posting at all you could have fried your board.
  11. did you make sure the ram was compatible with your MB and CPU? i just built my system ran into a bunch of bsods. thought ram was the issue as i bought it on ebay used. but after testing i found 0 errors. i have an asus board tried to us EZ installer utility for bios update said it was up to date. so i finally posted here and someone pointed out my bios was extremely old. So this is what i did. Downloaded all the newest drivers from my manufactures website for mother board. GPU and all that jazz i can grab later. you can now if you wish. but those drivers on a second hard drive or UBS stick. Created a brand new Windows 10 USB boot drive. shut my computer down loaded into bios. now my bios i can upgrade right from there through the internet. which is what i did. then booted into my usb drive. did a complete fresh install of OS.got in updated all the drivers. then hit up windows update. my computer has been running 8 hours not a single problem. 1-3 errors are fine on ram it happens. but 1 error per min. that's a lot. like i stated in mine i thought it was my ram. it wasn't. ALSO make sure your setting are loaded with optimized defaults. until you get windows fully up and running. make sure its stable as is before changing a bunch of stuff.
  12. what type of HDD? SSD? M.2 or mechanical
  13. Update some drivers. or check your storage drives health. Check for bios updates. DO a full virus scan, and a malware check. I am only suggesting this as i do not see nay trouble shooting steps you have already taken. I had an issue with my old computer i just upgraded literally within the week. my ssd that was 9 months old was taking a dive. but it was subtle Chrome would lock my computer up for about 30 sec i couldn't click or do anything but i could move the mouse and then the task bar would flash. when i installed my new OS on new computer i used a different drive. and now no issues after everything is updated.
  14. Can you revert back to 0905 so you can get back into the computer and then try to look for intel microcode patch (search for KB4090007) if you are going to just RMA never mind
  15. always make sure your running at your native resolution. that helped me. my native res is 2560 x 1080 and so are the games i play in full screen in the game settings. i would recommend going through the process. check display setting make sure they are on defualt and scaling is at 100% no more no less. go into Radeon settings and make sure GPU scaling is off and virtual Super Resolution is off. then make sure under gaming tab that in your global settings you dont have something marked for changing resolution.
