Sorry but I'm a LG loyal. For me if I was shopping in the 49 inch size I'd get the LG 49WL95C-WE. It's not targeted at gaming specifically and it does only run at 60Hz, but it IS stackable and has their dual controller tech built in. The first one means that you can get a crazy 5Kx3K desktop with just a slim break in the middle. The other feature allows you to hook up TWO balls-to-the-wall systems and control them with just a single keyboard and mouse. Forget multitasking - that's MEGA tasking like a boss.

For a pure gaming monitor I'd have to go with the LG 38GL950G-B. I'm already at home with 3440x1400 displays so upgrading to the bigger 3840x1600 would bring some very nice benefits and be especially useful for non-gaming work as well.

Arguing that gear like this is "out of stock" is one thing, but even if they were available, your pushing $1800 for just a gaming monitor and right on 3 grand for a pair of 49 inchers. For that kind of money I demand quality. My current monitor has been running for 7 years now, and in that time I've only had to send it in once where they did a board swap. The display is still perfect, I have no dead pixels and the backlight is still going strong. Now if Samsung can match LG for quality there would be an argument for me to consider their monitors. Specs alone aren't enough, especially if what you've paid for becomes a throwaway after 4 short years.

the timing of this in relation to the steam deck announcement is kind of fantastic in a way, might boost the viewing figures. Also its Anthony and who doesnt love Anthony!?

All from Japan? (0:39) OMG, you're not suggesting we've forgotten about the Lynx already are you? 😉 Seriously, the Lynx deserves a bit of recognition these days. It pioneered the form factor—a wide, narrow box with a landscape display and controls on each side—which even Nintendo has come around to by now. And while it was mocked for its considerable size I can't help noticing that it's actually significantly smaller than the Steam Deck. (Admittedly the Deck is much more of an all-round device.)

Why an 11900K? It's probably the most power-hungry consumer CPU in existence right now.
That's the opposite of conserving power.

EDIT: LTT didn't build it, Digital Storm did.
    Still a silly choice though.

This local(ish) sports club I follow on YouTube posted like 10 videos of someone's face. Turns out someone was trying to set up cameras for live streams but had accidentally gone live a multitude of times and not taken the videos down. They have about 3000 subscribers as well 😂🤣

Another school one: had a teacher tell us to go back to our desks (from the table we were sitting around) to use our electronic devices because, and I quote: "the Internet will be faster because it's more spaced out"

This (busily being restored, but with a new backplane because the old one was corroded toast).

Most of it is done now, front panel is restored (the picture shows the condition it arrived in, all corroded and missing switches).

It's an 8080 processor - a predecessor to the 8086 and 8088 (kinda like the Z80 which is basically compatible).  Though you can now get up to a 486 in the chassis as someone was mad enough to design the board for it over on the S-100 forums.

it will immediately charge the battery. That said propably lessen the batteries life. it will charge and discharge the same cells making the battery losing faster its usage time. i am always removing the battery if i have to keep my laptop in use for more than a day on an use the power cord.

Actually, the Artic P12 and P14 PWN fans come with the splitter already in the wiring for the fan.
If I remember correctly. (I installed the P14s almost 2 months ago, still waiting to drill out the screws so I can install the P12s in my case).
This is the 120MM fans I bought.

you wont unless it clogs the barring in the fan. dust on a filter can filter out more dust...

The post above saying Lian Li has become "NZXT 2" is bizarre, since NZXT is noted for only making hotboxes (and was even before the H1 riser cable fire scandal) whereas Lian Li cases generally have good airflow, especially the 215.

so you can have a big hole for good air flow and a air filter to catch the dust...but 99% of case use crap %85 air restrictive dust filters to save money making any benefit from having a mesh front point less and you have to remove the dust filter to even get air flow....so they made the mesh front we have now not a big hole and not really restrictive in the midal. i dont no if they still put duster filters in them or not probably depends on case.  there are non restrictive air filters why they didn't just put them in i dont no they needed a reason to buy a new case i guess. case crate problems then off fixes for them. happens all the time. case are not pushing new ideas or rarely do. its like offing a cup holder in a car as a selling point. its the good old toothpaste year after year they say it cleans better then the year before....
