  1. I am partial to the Lian Li Lancool II Mesh. (I have the performance model) Routing cables in it actually wasn't bad. The cable way covers on the back side make it easy to hide if you don't do a really great job. Just remember that if your cables bulge out too far, then even with the cover on, the backside tempered glass won't stay closed! One of the joys of having a magnetic closure on your side panels. But seriously, for all that gear you are putting in, I would add a couple more case fans (at least an exhaust one on the rear) to get some good flow. Good luck on the SAT. and even more good luck on getting your CPU and GPU you listed. Heck it took me 2 months to get the Lancool II case, and I had to pay a bit over retail.
  2. Here is the fan header for the performance. Sadly I can't look at Lian Li's website from my work. I know it shows the layout of the Fan hub for both.
  3. I know it seems odd, but that is why that side of the bottom panels is mesh and not solid. The Lancool II had a slit for air. But when Lian Li did the Mesh model, they added that to give you an option for bringing in air from that side panel to push it upwards. Personally I haven't done it yet, but I only have a GTX 1070 that isn't overclocked. So I run about 70C under full gaming load.
  4. I was curious what country you lived in because of the price hike. If you are going to leave the GPU inserted in the motherboard, then I would recommend the Lancool II Mesh. Sorry that they don't have the Performance one for you. To better get cooling on your GPU, pick up a 3x120MM fans and one 140MM fan. Mount 2 of them on top of the PSU shroud. There is opening for them, they get their air from the side bottom cover. And install one on the rear exhaust and for air balance install another exhaust on the top rear location (140MM). The RGB model has 3X 120MM RGB fans in the front of the case and no rear exhaust fan. I hope this helps. If you would rather save money, you could build in the Lancool 215. I just did that to make my son's PC MUCH lighter for taking back and forth to college. I know there are openings on the PSU Shroud, I just didn't see if they were removable.
  5. There is also the Lancool 215 if you want a cheaper version of the Lancool 2 Mesh. I just swapped my son's PC into the Lancool 215 for Christmas. He has a Ryzen 5 2600X and a RX 5700XT. I don't have thermal numbers though sorry.
  6. It really comes down to personal preference. As long as the chair fits to your body, then get what options you would like. As for the GN video, I have the Ergo Chair 2, that I purchased for my wife. Technically I can use it, I am just under the weight limit, and my thighs touch the arm posts a little. but it has some great lumbar adjustments to help get that posture you want/need. I use a AK Racing MAX chair currently. It had the dimensions that would fit me and it has a weight limit of 400lbs. My only complaint is the stupid 4-D arm rests. I wish they would just lock into place where they are set!!! I hate it when I push on them to adjust myself in the chair and they move. (especially front to back) I also have a bad back (3 herniated discs in my lumbar spine [L3 to L4, L4 to L5, and L5 to L6]).
  7. How much room is there between the wall on the desk/table top? I agree with both ideas given above. I am still trying to cable manage my setup.
  8. I agree with the paint over and then stencil what you want it to say. Or say nothing at all. UMMM maybe a dumb question, what does the "LANE" mean? Personally, I would just primer and paint the case a different color if you want it to look different.
  9. This is a couple I could find for your area, within your budget. One of the hard things I found is seeing if airflow was unrestricted. After all this looking, I almost wonder if I could find some OLD (1989 to 1994ish) cases that I could modify and make them look cool. Nothing like using a Dremel, paint, buffer, drill. Who knows!! LOL This is the sort page I used. https://pcpartpicker.com/products/case/#t=4&G=2,12&sort=price&page=1 Not sure if you wanted windows, most on this list have acrylic ones. I wonder if the glass would be more prone to breakage?? https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/BfPKHx/phanteks-enthoo-pro-tg-rgb-atx-full-tower-case-ph-es614ptg_bk https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/BKW9TW/corsair-case-750d https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/sNJwrH/corsair-case-cc9011063ww
  10. AHHHH!! I got you. Your looking for a single sleeved cable to carry the SATA power and data. I'll see what my Google can pull. Only other idea that I have about this, is using black electrical tape wrapped around them to accomplish what you want to do. It's a little neater look than zip ties every inch or so. This would allow you to separate the cables at whatever point you need to. This is a late post (4 hours). I had to walk away from my work desk for a bit. I was hoping I could find something. Glad to see you found something and have a few more ideas.
  11. There are many that fit into that. Could you narrow that search down a bit??? Size, included # of fans, Front IO, etc.
  12. This was all I could find. They only have 1x type-c, 2x 3.0 type A and 2x 2.0 Type A https://www.newegg.com/thermaltake-level-20-gt-argb-black-edition-e-atx-full-tower-chassis/p/N82E16811133416 https://www.newegg.com/black-thermaltake-core-p-series-e-atx-full-tower-case/p/N82E16811133439 https://www.newegg.com/black-thermaltake-view-51-tempered-glass-argb-edition-atx-full-tower/p/N82E16811133427 https://www.newegg.com/white-fractal-design-define-7-compact-atx-mid-tower/p/N82E16811352130 https://www.newegg.com/gray-fractal-design-define-7-atx-mid-tower/p/N82E16811352115 Couldn't find any that had 4x USB 2.0. Sorry
  13. Are you sure? Those just look like pins. Have you tried using a needle nose plyers to remove them? Can you see the backside of them from in the case? Or would you have to remove the radiator to do that? And are you sure this is backwards? Typically the exhaust side has the manufactures' information on the exhaust side along with the wire connected to the motor. I don't see that here. An easy way to dummy check, take a piece of paper and hold it close to the fan and see if it gets sucked towards it or gets pushed away.
  14. I am trying to picture it in my head. So are you keeping the Blu-ray drive inside of your case? I bought a 3.5" SATA to USB adapter that has a power plug because SATA power doesn't have enough to run a 3.5" drive. Or are you looking for a multiple type connector device? I have one from WAVLINK that I can use to clone drives if need be, or connect the drive using USB if I need to get data off of it. Or are you just looking to connect with SATA??? Again, I apologize for my confusion.
  15. No problem. Luckily, I try to take pictures of work that I do. You never know what can be answered. Enjoy the P500A.
  16. I have the Lancool II Mesh Performance. It should fit the 280mm AIO since it has 2 140mm fans up front and it can go into the PSU shroud if need be. There are cable covers in the back and it can hold 4 SSDs on the back and backside lower cover. Here you can see the plate that can be removed for larger radiators up front. You just need to remove the Drive cage in the bottom. I have 3 HDDs and 3SSDs, so mine is still in place. If you need any other measurements, I can take them for you. Or try to answer any other questions you may have about it.
  17. Well, I guess I am glad that I didn't buy it then. I put it in the cart, but I didn't pull the trigger. I'll just keep my eye on the Hyper 212 Evo Blacks then or maybe an AIO. Eh, who knows.
  18. If you want, the Corsair A500 is on sale for Newegg Shell Shocker for $50, and there is a mail in rebate of $20 on top of that. I was thinking of it for my son, but it is 3mm taller than what his LanCool 215 allows.
  19. In my house, I am sure we will do the same thing with it as the last one, pay some medical bills. I just hope this one doesn't come with another letter from CofC making it sound like he paid me personally from his own account. LOL
  20. Hey everyone. So I have said it on a couple of other threads, I upgraded my main monitor from a LG 29UB55-29" 21:9 1080p to a Gigabyte 34" 21:9 1440p 144Hz. I was thinking of getting a VESA arm that I could clamp to my desk and put the 29" above my 34". I see plenty that can handle widescreen monitors up to 27" and up to 17lbs, but not many for 29" Ultrawide, and have a long enough arm to raise it above the 34". Would it be better to keep the 34" on it's stand and find a VESA arm tall enough to get the 29" above it, or get a dual mount that could handle both? The desk is made from 3/4" plywood, so it should be strong enough to hold a clamp style VESA mount. I keep thinking the stand ones would just fall down on however is at the computer. I appreciate any suggestions. Granted I am sure if I do this my wife is going to ask me how bad of an idea it is. LOL
  21. I wish I could chime in with this. I have been using a Logitech G110 for the last 8 to 10 years. I got a $100 Best Buy gift card for some work I did and $15 in awards from BB as well. I was looking to upgrade my keyboard to a mechanical one. My daughter, like your wife doesn't like the sound of clicky keys. (her brother has one on his desk which is next to ours). I tried out some of those test keys they have in the store. I prefer the tactile I think (not a lot of chance to try with just one key to see what you think of the switches. If you do get a how swappable, please update this thread with what you get and how you like it or dislike it, please.
  22. So I just replaced my LG 29" Ultrawide 1080p 60Hz monitor with a Gigabyte 34" 1440p 144Hz Ultrawide. It has been a great upgrade! My games do look better! When it comes to those massive spreadsheets, the higher resolution will allow you to see even more. My desk also has a 22" 1080p drawing tablet on the side. I see the difference when I move my Chrome browser from monitor to monitor. Just the size reduction of going from 1080p to 1440p in real time makes you notice how much more room you have. This is the old setup with the 29" 1080p 21:9. I need to get a picture of my new monitor on the desk. My 1440p monitor has a small curve, which I think you would want. It helps me from having to look from edge to edge a lot. Well I just don't have to turn my head as much. I bought my son a 32" 1080p 165Hz 16:9 from MSI, yeah its big, but it works for him.
  23. Maybe use some self etching primer and then a color metallic paint you like over that???
  24. Why do you want to use this case??? Hell a Fractal Design Focus G would have better airflow and it's only $40. Or go to a local thrift store, Heck, make a cardboard case with better airflow!!!
