You have to consider what your gonna use for the storage. If you plan on installing games and software an SSD would probably be better. If your just storing files you don't use all to often or don't need to be read at high speeds you can get away with a HDD.

As for the Games I play some of my favorites are Just cause 4 and cities skylines which is very CPU intensive.
I do not have to be able to game in 4k only edit video in 4k as I only have 2 1080p 60hz monitors.
