  1. Hi All,Was working on my nephews PC and was told that when he searched in Chrome it would always use bing.So I did all the usual checks like make sure Google was default search engine in settings. Removed all other search engine options but still when you highlight something in a webpage and click on search the results all come back using bing as the search engine.I reset the settings and even uninstalled it but it keeps doing the same thing.Any suggestions please?
  2. Looks like a great little unit, not sure about using at home, as I dont think I have the required space, but this would be fantastic for my work and at my brothers place. Small compact and picture quality that looks really good. Well done LG clever gear for the consumer.
  3. Thank you Captain i will follow this up and report back
  4. Ok further update PC after running for a while and after downloading steam games will blue screen then reboot and scramble the bios. The error code is Blue screen with this error code: KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR, STOP: 0x0000007A I have googled this and it says it is some kind of memory read issue, can anyone shed some more light on this type of problem please?
  5. What's not to like, a compact high powered, energy efficient PC that looks great and from what I have seen on the reviews performs really well. Perfect for my HTPC which is sadly in need of replacement, alternatively the wife might grab it has her replacement workstation well done Zotac and thanks LMG
  6. Did the first, will now do the second option, Thank you
  7. Hi All, Completed this build on Saturday mobo - Asus A68HM Plus (Bios 1401 Latest) Cpu - A8 7650k ram - 8GB DDR3 Kingston SSD - 120Gb Patriot Blaze Video - GTX 750Ti OS - Win 7 ultimate Updated windows, drivers and Bios have started and restarted PC about 30 times during the weekend without issue. however after downloading a few steam games and being asked to reboot the system, on the reboot I get a black screen saying no drive found "press Cntrl, Alt, Delete to restart". I go into bios and no SSD is found?? I reset the Bios to default same thing. Your thoughts would be appreciated?
  8. Trying to work out a build

  9. Thanks KpazStormstrike, I haven't had any experience in crossfire and after googling it, I totally get why you would do it but I am concerned about specing a configuration which I haven't used before. EDIT - AMD recommend R7 240 see link here http://www.amd.com/en-us/innovations/software-technologies/dual-graphics#3 I am hoping for a bit more performance so cant use the R7 360 in dual mode as it is not recommended.
  10. Thanks guys for the input. @ Arty, the kid has been working his butt off delivering papers and working odd jobs to raise the funds so I feel like I should build something decent @ Made in Canada- Thanks Mate @ Comic Sans - I know what your saying about MSY, but everyone has had different experiences and for me they have been good for numerous purchases. As for Cross fire thats a valid point except I have never set up a crossfire or SLI'd before and I don't want to experiment on his build. Thank you for your thought though, @ JebKerman - Thanks Buddy, need to stick to 600 ish mark, so will consider making those changes dropping a few items.
  11. Hi all, I have been asked to put together a budget gaming build for my 13 year old nephew. USE - Primarily gaming and web browsing Monitor - using a single Asus 24" monitor 4years old No peripherals required Budget was "$600ish" (Australian) and I thought AMD was going to give the most bang for $$$. Appreciate any feedback please All prices were from a local supplier MSY who I have dealt with over the years. Total was $634. 12. I manually control the temps on my GB R9 270 and have the fans turned off at idle and only spin them up when its hits 65+ even when playing Crisis 3 under max load the temp only hits 70 Celsius but the fans are fully spooled up by then. Would be interested to know if this flashing will work on an AMD platform video card? Any thoughts ?
