Awesome plan, after some headaches with the case and my 5700xt, I was looking at doing something similar to this as well. Any updates on how its going/how it went?

Thank you for the advice! One of the laptops I was looking at was the new Razor Blade 19, thought to be honest with with you, two of the main things I saw that turned me interest was the overall cooling and the build quality on them. Aside from this, they are pretty good laptops. One thing I did wanna ask (being on the topic of Razor) was the use of the Razor core to give a boost to a laptop. Would that be a viable use if, for instance, I was planning on getting a MacBook Pro or a MSI p65 and use the core or “core-like products” to give it a “helping hand”?

I have a decent desk setup at home, but depending on the laptop, I wouldn’t mind getting a second monitor or even a eGPU for extra boost Budget: - Because of school, I would say my overall max would be around $2,200, but my minimum being around $1,500 (I made a mistake getting a cheap laptop the first time, not gonna risk that again)

Hello Everyone, I’ve been a fan of Linus for some time now (binging videos both old and new for a couple weeks now) and after looking at so many builds, I wanted to ask for any information/recommendations for a laptop. Some of the main things I was looking at doing were: 1. Music Production (I’m just starting out, but have a general idea how most programs work. I was hoping to use FL Studio) 2. Gaming (I’m mostly a console player but would love to try my hands at PC gaming) 3. Video Editing (Nothing too heavy, I use some editing for videos I’ve been having to do for school) 3. General use (Microsoft word, YouTube, a little of everything) I thought after watching so many videos on laptops from MSI to Apple Macbook Pros to Asus laptops, I would be able to make a decision, but seeing so much information, I’m at a lost. My current laptop is a Toshiba Satélite C55D, so honestly any recommendations would be a blessing. Many thanks for any help!
