  1. thanks for the reply! yea i've looked everywhere for a review. Glad you were able to find one even if its in Chinese lol. And i agree 100 percent about coolermaster's laziness. I can't imagine more that a coupe people are using the front for a radiator. seems like a useless bracket I'm rocking a Ryzen 3800x and a msi 2080 ti gaming x trio so a couple degrees might be worth it, but probably not lol (hate water cooling).
  2. they updated them to a new version a couple months ago. not sure why they kept the same name as i know the old ones are kinda crappy. The new ones have the best stats on paper for any coolermaster fan but i know that doesn't equal real world necessarily
  3. are those the new sickleflow fans? they came out with a version 2.0 a couple months ago.
  4. Ive seen there reviews which are great but never say them change out the fans. Just the glass and mesh panels. does anyone else have thoughts?
  5. i get that the noise might be higher, but what about the cooling? it seems (at least to me) that the 200mm fans are being greatly hindered by that bracket. which i would think would decrease the airflow a lot... but maybe i'm wrong
  6. I was thinking that but they're rated at 27db and the 200mm are rated at 28db.... I know its 3 fans vs 2, but i can hardly hear the 200mm fans even with them at 100%. I guess maybe i just need to buy a set of the fans and listen to them before i install them lol
  7. I have the coolermaster H500 (not M or P). It currently has the stock 2x200mm fans in the front (rated at 90 CFM each), however I recently noticed that about a 1/3rd of the fans are blocked by the metal radiator bracket in the front (see picture). The main hole through the support is 120mm wide. I'm thinking that 3 120mm fans would push a whole lot more air since the 180cfm of the 2x 200mm fans is 1/3 blocked and the 3x 120mm fans would not be blocked at all. What do you guys think? Also was looking at replacing the fans with the new sickleflow 120mm fans as they have 62CFM each (186 CFM total), have higher static pressure, and are supposedly just as quite as the 200mm fans if cooler master is to be believed. (https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/case-fan/sickleflow-120-rgb) thoughts?

  9. I doubt there are too many things taking up PCIE lanes. Just a 2080 TI and to Sata drives. I can see the bios and select it but i just get a aorus logo thats constantly trying to load windows but never does. I've tried UEFI, diabled and legacy, it doesn't seem to make a difference
  10. Wow really should have given that info lol. It's a gigabyte X570 Master, Ryzen 3800X, and Samsung 4tb 860 Evo 2.5 SSD. Everything is wired correctly as it boots just fine in the back up bios which is the factory F4 bios. The new bios I flashed to is the F10, but i also tried F7, F6 and even going back to F4 but the same issue occurs no matter what.
  11. I've built my own computers for years and worked with many gigabyte motherboards but I've never seen this kind of problem before. Everything works great until i flash the main bios to a newer version. Then it fails to load windows. However the back up bios works just fine, so it clearly not a hardware issue. I can access the main bios and change any settings but It won't load windows. It states there is no boot drive available. I thought this may have been a defective board as did gigabyte when i put in a ticket for technical support, However i got a replacement board from amazon as i thought the first was broken and now the replacement board is doing the exact same thing. It has to be a software option somewhere, but i can't for the life of me figure out what it is and have searched everywhere. Does anyone have any ideas? I've tried re-flashing the bios, clearing the CMOS, loading optimized defaults ect. but to no avail. The only post code is AA, which apparently stands for reserved whatever that is. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
  12. can you explain what you mean and how to do it. I'm a bit confused by what you're saying?
  13. If anyone out there is familiar with gigabyte motherboards and their bios i'd greatly appreciate the help. I recently upgraded to a Ryzen 3800x and purchased a x570 master to go along with it but i'm having two issues. 1. I flashed the main bios using Q flash and a USB to the newest version on gigabyte's website F7b, however that corrupted the main bios and i only get a black screen that won't load windows, but i am able to access the bios. When i switch to the back up bios that is the factory set F4 bios everything loads fine. I tried to flash the main bios to F6 and to F4 but the problem persists. I have complete access to the bios but it will not load windows. It doesn't even recognize the boot partition within the bios. I tried clearing cmos and set bios to factory defaults but it doesn't appear to work. Please help. 2. When i load windows through my back up bios (F4) my CPU temperature in SIV smart fan 5 is constantly going up and down in giant leaps while at idle, however other monitoring programs such as ryzen master show a constant 46 degrees. all the fans are working but something appears to be wrong with the temp monitoring within SIV. Thanks,
