  1. Hi guys.... Upon doing a lot of investigating into ram topology (my board uses daisy chain), ram rank (single or dual), CPU limitations (he does not like to go over 3200mhz) etc... I took ShrimpBrime's advice and went with B-Die. But this created a lot of limitations... Using the tool https://benzhaomin.github.io/bdiefinder/ I limited chose 3200mhz, C14, 2x16Gb. Got 3 kits Corsair, not one in stock, and about 20 or so G.Skill kits.... I went bling and chose the G.Skill Trident Z Royal (silver) F4-3200C14D-32GTRS. Just made the order on Newegg... in about a month or so I will have it with me... will keep you guys posted. we have a very good video as well: cheers
  2. I have been searching for new RAM sticks... I am having a hard time searching for B-Die. Unfortunately It looks like all retailers have stock issues... There is a good tool to confirm which kit has B die or not - check it out: https://benzhaomin.github.io/bdiefinder/ PS: using only 1 stick of RAM with XMP profile (DDR4-3600 at 1.35v) and Infinity Fabric at 1800 all is fine. The other stick? Blue screens in 3 secs after boot to win.
  3. Im thinking of using a 3600 rated RAM, start with 3200Mhz and then see if I can push to the sweet spot of performance 3600Mhz.... QVL could be a bit more helpfull... The ones I need are mostly out of stock... I'm looking a the ones with B die and 2/4 sticks tested.
  4. sure as hell never going for an "on sale" ram kit.... I'm going to search for other kits, B-Die, as you said. I really want 32Gb and if I have to stick to 3200Mhz so be it. Now I need to see what is best. 4x8 or 2x16...
  5. Well.... got a diagnosis.... 1 stick is f****d up.... Now I need to make a decision on which kit to buy.... need 32Gb at least... going for 16Gb is not very good these days.... thanks for the help guys... I am researching a bit more to see which one is best.
  6. I got a nice read... what is the problem running a 32GB kit and a 3900X? Could it be so much trouble?
  7. Damn thing as on sale as one of the best RAM sets for Ryzen. Gona try. tks.
  8. This is the current sad state of affairs.... I had UEFI 3.2. Saw on the website it had an update (3.4)... did it. but it was the same, so I rolled back to 3.0, and now, at least, I get the normal readings on Ryzen Master. The RAM issues continues.... Well.... you know.... updating UEFI because of stability/performance improvements... biggest problem now is that even at stock speed I have blue screens....
  9. I have been having a REALLY hard time with this build. I have an ASROCK X570 phantom Gaming X + Ryzen 9 3900x + G.Skill F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC. After puting everything together I had no problems. Configured XMP Profile on UEFI and every was 100%. Then after reading some more, I found out I needed to have Infinity Fabric at the same speed as Ram. I went into UEFI configured the Fabric to be at the same speed as the RAM, and all was fine.... After updating to UEFI 3.2 I saw that CPU Power, SOC and TDC were not shown anymore... I ran it like this for 2-3 months. I got a Noctua NH-D15 And realised that the temps were around 50-60 on idle. After digging a bit I read that it would be better to fix the CPU Voltage at 1.35, so it runs cooler and better. I have been trying to do it on the UEFI, but, even when I have it in the UEFI, the system goes over it. Most times at 1.42 and sometimes getting to 1.54. Before I found the solution to this Voltage thing, one day I shut the PC down normaly. Turn it on the next day and when I get to windows I get a Blue screen after 30 secs. Tried going into windows 2 or 3 times and same happened. Went into UEFI, and saw the RAM was back to stock 2133mhz. XMP was active in UEFI but the ram did not go into the correct speeds. Now I cannot have the 2 stick of ram on the MOBO because i get blue screens... I do not know what to do anymore.... RAM was in the compatibility list of the MOBO, but in 2 and 4 sticks of 8GB not 16GB, but, why would it start acting up after 2 or 3 months after running? Should I replace the ram or try something else? Cheers.
  10. cable is the way to go with Xbox controllers... its crazy the amount of controllers I have from Xbox that do not work properly....
  11. For 20 bucks it sounds you got a non original Xbox Controller.... I have vast experience in these Xbox 360 controllers to use on PC. I have a total of 5 and all of them malfunctioning. Batteries stopped working, buttons stopped working, analog sticks registering inputs when centered, etc.... The Xbox controllers are really badly built. At the moment I have an Xbox One Controller, but, the wireless connection is dropping all the time. I now use it with the cable.
  12. Is this a Tester? where can I get it?
  13. Hi, pfsense box not available where I am. I do not want the TP-Link to do the other router stuff because the Asus routers are working in AiMesh and have their nice QoS. I know it will not give me more speed on one connection, normally at home I have 1 or 2 streams from Netflix + someone going on youtube + Online gaming.
  14. Hi, I have two internet connections. One is 12Mb and the other is 20Mb. I would like to merge them to use on the same network. I currently have a network with two Asus Routers in Mesh configuration (AC88U and AC86U). I bought a TP-Link R470T+ to use to merge the two internet services. Are there any guys with experience in doing this? I know that the R470T+ can merge the networks and do the DHCP to the whole network, gut, I only want the R470T+ to merge the two connections and provide them to the Asus Router as a normal internet connection. Cheers!
