Thank you so much, this advice is actually really helpful, would you say the super variant is worth the extra cost over the normal RTX 2080?

While I don't believe 240hz will give me an advantage over 144hz, its just that I've never been interested in eye candy and I've tested both 1440p and 240hz monitors, I just prefer fluidity over quality.

I've heard this alot about how the main bottleneck will be the CPU, would it be better to get an i9 9900k, would the extra threads do anything?

I've heavily debated the pros and cons between 1440p 144hz and 1080p 240hz and I've arrived at the conclusion that 240hz fits my tastes better as I only play competitive FPS shooters. I'm planning to upgrade to a i7 9700k and an RTX 2080TI and I was wondering if i would be able to easily achieve 240+ fps. Games I primarily play are CS:GO, Overwatch, R6:Siege and Apex Legends, for these games I mostly use competitive settings (Low/Medium). However I'm not sure if I should wait until Nvidia's 7nm GPUs to come out.
