  1. I have two systems with 250GBs main SSD I ran out of space on both of them...
  2. Yes will work. I personally would never build a PC with a 250GB SSD. Opt for an 500GB if you have the spare. Also M.2 are pretty fast. But I would rather have 500GB then M.2
  3. Hey everyone. I've a i7-5820k cooled by an Coolermaster nepton 240m AIO. My OS is on an 950 Pro M.2 SSD. Randomly after booting the Loading circles are turning very slowly. The fans on my AIO ramp up to max. Once I'm in Windows I see that the Temps in CoreTemp are in the high 80-90. The CPU throttles down to 1.35 GHz sometimes even lower. The weird thing is, that nothing is running in the background. The exhaust air from the AIO is cold though. Usually after intense gaming it gets a bit war/hot. I've a felling that my MOBO temp sensors returning weird measurements. Therefore I updated / flashed the BIOS. If you restart it some a couple of times it turns back to normal.... After that all temperatures are reasonable again. Any help/ ideas? -Stempifleig
  4. Build look pretty decent. A small point (more like a bonus) you might want to upgrade your SSD to an 960 EVO m.2 It's way faster but cost 100$ more.
  5. thats what I meant to write had copied some stuff
  6. remove all fans of this type from your computer as well as the fan controller. Replace the fan and the psu and you should be fine!
  7. You can trouble shoot without all drives given that you have more than one
  8. Clean that PSU... Can't see any damage so far though... Then I would check the Power Supply area on the Motherboard
  9. you mean the plastic housing 4r7? That's a coil. shouldn't smoke if blown up. This area is the audio circuit so if you checked everything else check if audio still works. But like mentioned before check psu than other components
  10. the pics looks fine. look for bad caps on the motherboard or the psu:
  11. Look at all contacts and on the PCBs. Some PSU have selftests. It would help if we have all your specs
  12. Sounds like PSU but hard to tell right now. What I would do is to dissemble the PC and take a close look at every Component
  13. That's kinda what I thought too. It too little. I also understand that you want a HUE. I personally would spend the budget rather on a lager SSD then the HUE though. It's easy to add the HUE later then enlarge the SSD
