I just quickly want to clarify for anyone thats reading this in 2023 and after. If you click the link you will see that the top suggestion is the Gigabyte Control Center which DOES NOT WORK with older cards like the 2080. I tried installing, reinstalling, doing a full Bios update, restarting multiple times and even reverting back to the 2022 version but nothing changed, the fan control did not show up for me. What ended up fixing my issue and what i think @NeonCathedral was meaning to say is that you need to install the Aorus Engine and go into "Professional Mode" and from there you can find the "Target Temp" option on the bottom which is by default set to 83C but we want it to be as low as it goes so we will set it to 65C. yep,my bad. I have the Gigabyte Gaming OC version and a GoodRam cx400 512GB ssd for my games.Everything is up to date,i disabled Link State power management and Ive already set everything to high performance.Firmware is up to date,my Bluetooth and WiFi drivers are straight from Intel.i changed the Sata cable aswell..didnt change the port though but i dont think its a hardware issue.. Also,im sorry for the late response.

So I should cross that out and not try and change sata ports? I changed the cable but it didint help

Ya, i did,well it wasnt really my decision but rn im trying to do everything else and if all esle fails ill rma it. Its a Polish company and their software is okay but kind of barebones.

I'll try and i've also got it set up on the 0 sata port on my mobo i think,i read somewhere about Asmedia Sata ports but i honestly couldn't find anything in my manual about it so,should i change my sata placement too,what to do you think?

I will try that tonight.I don't think it is though,ill also update the Raid even though i don't use it,and anything else i haven't yet.

I dont know how to fully test this,sorry but rn on Task Manager it says im using 22% of my 15.9GB (7 google chrome tabs open+steam and Samsung Magician) and when i checked yesterday i didnt see any big spikes or anything weird.
