  1. Hi, thank you for reply. The fact is that I built my computer in 2019. Until the fall of 2023 I never had any problems. Given these circumstances, is it possible that the reason is still a compatibility issue?
  2. Ok, now things have got even more weird. So, I rolled back to an early BIOS and my Win11 stopped loading. I had no other choice but to get back to the latest version of BIOS. Win11 loaded fine. Here are things I tried: 1. I tried to use 1 single stick into A1 slot. PC did not load, I got D0 error on Q-code. 2. I plugged in 3 sticks in quad channel order, except for A1 slot. PC did load correctly. 3. I plugged the last stick into a problematic A1 slot. And.... PC loaded absolutely fine! Activating D.O.C.P. leads to unbootable PC though. Anyway, I am happy that the problem basically solved. I don't know the reason, but whatever.
  3. Hi, man! I tried it today and PC loaded just fine. It seems like the problem only appears when I use 4 sticks of RAM. I wonder if it is related to BIOS somehow?
  4. Hey guys! About four months ago my ASUS TRX40 pro stopped working with 4 sticks of RAM (Corsair Dominator 4x16gb @3200 mhz). All four sticks are good, I tested all of them one by one. My mobo works either with 1 stick or 2 sticks. If I put four sticks my mobo shows C5 error (memory error). My PC is 5 years old and everything used to be fine with it. I have to say that I did a BIOS update prior to the problem, but I am not sure if I did it right before the problem appeared. Any advice is appreciated!
  5. Thanks! Nice! This seem to work! You're awesome!
  6. Guys, is there a way to tweak the search somehow?
  7. File Explorer. I go to folder and type the file name I need
  8. Hey guys. So, for example I have a file named Rage-Zoom-Greenscreen-effect.mp4 The file is stored in a big folder where I have various green screen effects. I use windows search to quickly get to the file I need. So, when I type "Zoom" in windows search bar I expect the search to show me every file that has a word "zoom" in its name. But I see "No items match your search"... It is very annoying. I suppose it is because of "-" symbol. If the file is named "Zoom Effect.mp4" the search will find it. But I have hundreds of effects named like Cartoon-Smoke-Greenscreen-effect.mp4 Can I change it somehow? I simply want the search to work as it used to be in Windows 7.
  9. I think I haven't had any dropouts in the last three days. Will see in the next few days. I also had a minor crackling in videogames, but I fixed that by changing audio output frequency from 41 kHz to 48 kHz
  10. Yeah, I decided make a message about it, because I found a fix. I hope somebody will find it helpful. Definitely something related to drivers and not a hardware issue. Like I said, I almost never had an audio dropout in a game.
  11. I was able to fix that by installing SetPoint software by Logi. Found an advice in google. However that driver booster is a weird thing.
  12. Damn man, this fckn software messed up my usb drivers! My wireless keyboard and mouse are shown as unknown devices and I can't update their drivers because they are "unavailable". My LOGI+ software for keyboard and mouse doesn't see my devices. Damn!
  13. That doesn't look good. It is recommended to use the same RAM. Same manufacturer, same exact model. It is preferable to buy a kit of four sticks so they will match 100%. Also, before you buy you need to check your MoBo QVL to see the RAM you want listed there. Exact model, I emphasize on that. Otherwise, you might get issues with RAM when turning on XMP. When you have different sticks installed you might experience performance issues.
  14. So far, I don't know. I need some more time to test. Those dropouts don't appear too often and almost never appear in games. Yes, some of USB drivers were all the way from 2006. I wonder how's that possible with automatic windows updates... I will try to update an SSD, sounds very reasonable!
  15. Seems like I am just a "lucky" guy. I am glad to know that many of you guys have never had dead pixels. I am not in the US. Sadly, I don't have this luxury of returning electronics with no questions asked. When my monitor got dead pixels I asked my vendor if he can have it back. He said it is not a faulty monitor. Having dead pixels is "acceptable", lol.
  16. I've heard of DELL doing this. As far as I know LG doesn't offer that. Samsung and ViewSonic do not as well. Those are major manufacturers that make many nice monitors.
  17. I am thinking about buying a new display. But there is a problem. I've had like 8 monitors in my life. All of them had dead pixels. I bought a $1.5K monitor from LG 3 years ago. Two dead pixels appeared after a year of usage. I bought a $1K 4K monitor from ViewSonic 5 months ago. Three dead pixels next to each other within the first month of usage. The only thing that stops me from buying some nice and cool $2.5K display is a threat of getting dead pixels. I just can't force myself to buy it and face the risk of having dead pixels somewhere in the center of the display. I mean, you can't return it. There is no "zero dead pixels guarantee" in the industry. I wonder what do you guys think of it?
  18. Oh, wait a second. No, not these drivers. I downloaded my drivers from ASUS. ASUS drivers are older. I will try to install those. Thank you so much for pointing it out. My BIOS fail to load if I will leave my PC turn off for a night. It started to happen after BIOS update. Factory BIOS didn't have that issue. Yes, doesn't make any difference. I will try the booster, thanks. My BIOS is the latest one. I've read that it is not recommended to update firmware. I am not sure about that.
  19. Just a week ago. It is super clean. I only have Steam, Adobe products and ESET antivirus. Sure, yeah. Thank you for your time, by the way! I have it disabled. It is D.O.C.P. because it is AMD. My motherboard doesn't support my memory model in terms of D.O.C.P. stability. I checked QVL
  20. Yeah, it is AMD motherboard and I downloaded the latest chipset drivers from AMD. This is the reason why I used Latencymon to check. I highly doubt it is a hardware because many people have the same problem, even those without USB audio interface. I am sure it is not CPU. Like I said, the dropouts are very rare when playing videogames. The dropouts are also a rare thing when I do video editing in Premiere Pro.
  21. Hey, guys! So, yeah, quite common problem. Audio dropouts. Mostly happens when browsing Youtube or Twitch. Rarely happens in games. I was advised to use a Latencymon software to check my audio. Seems like a bad windows driver causes a problem. Latencymon shows me different drivers that might be a problem: NVLDDMKM.sys DXGKRNL.sys NTOSKRNL.exe My Power Management is set to Maximum Performance All the drivers are up to date All Windows updates installed BIOS is the latest version Windows installed just a week ago My audio is Stenberg UR 22 MK II Guys, can you please give me advice what to do?
  22. PC didn't turn on after a night. It starts, fans spin, but there is no bios. This only happens after a night. So it is a cold boot problem.
  23. No, I am on AMD. It started when I updated BIOS. You can check your MoBo qvl, look for your memory model. If it is not listed, then your MoBo doesn't support your particular model for XMP
  24. I had exactly the same problem. Solution - disable XMP in BIOS.
  25. I tried to enable D.O.C.P., but manually reduce the memory frequency. From 3200Mhz to 3000Mhz. It seems to work, although the windows takes much more time to load. It is so weird. Guys is there any way to get my motherboard back to factory BIOS? I tried to downgrade BIOS to 2020 version but it doesn't seem to downgrade it completely. I mean, in newer versions of BIOS there is a warning when you turn on D.O.C.P. My old BIOS didn't have that warning. When I downgrade BIOS it still has this warning.
