  1. Yes me too, but this time, it just doesn't make sense
  2. That con not really be the case. For exaple there is a video from corsair germany where der 8auer build a system very similar to mine and he didn't had any issues at all. Also in his video Memclock and Uncore does not fluctuate as mine, but I just can't find out what's the reason for that.
  3. Even if, the board is broken af. There still must be a way o set everything manully to known working values.
  4. So a quick update, the new Ram didn't change anything, It would be really helpfull, if someone with a working ASUS + 7950X3D + EXPO Setup could post his full BIOS settings, with voltages and everything.
  5. You most likely have the same kit than, or maybe dominator or nun RGB with the same chips, could you tell me the exact timings your BIOS went for and relevant voltages VDDIO, VDDP, SOC and so on... EDIT.: Nope, my bad, I've 30-36-36-76, still would be interesting Also I just found out something quite interesting, Memory frequency is set to 3000MHz and BIOS and HWInfo also shows that, but CPU-Z reads that the memory frequency is fluctuating between 2800-2950MHz. Is that normal?
  6. I think so too, but it's definitely EXPO RAM. The super odd thing is that it just happens if I change ANYTHING in the BIOS, for example, I was just tinkering again and if I load BIOS defaults, the system will at least run almost everytime, now I did just change the fan curves, saved the settings and it started to fail again! It looks like ASUS is only applying standart timings with the optimized defaults, as soon as you save the BIOS settings a second time it will start to mess around with some stuff that is set to auto.
  7. So I just ordered myself a Lexar kit (LD5BU016G-R6000GDLA) which seems to be Hynix M die on a reference PCB. It is not (yet) in the QVL list of my board, but I'll give it a try. It even has slightly better timings than my Corsair sticks at even 0,05 Volts less, according to it's EXPO profile.
  8. Always different. Kernel Security Check, Memory Management, Attempted Write to read-only Memory and a few more. It looks to me like the board always changes some timings on post even if all are set manually. It is also interesting that my Corsair RAM is in the QVL of the board but with a very specific version of it, which I can't really find out, which one I have. I bought the board quite late, when that issue should have been fixed allready, the system never run on a BIOS older than 1807. Also that would be weird, because if the system happens to run, it performs outstanding, which shouldn't be possible if the CPU is already broken. I've also tried to run the system on debian without any issues. My first attempt would be to buy some G.Skill 7800Mhz CL36, just to make sure, it's not the ram.
  9. I've tried various different Timings, all three EXPO variations, Manual Timings, it doesn't seem to matter, sometimes it works sometimes it won't. Sometimes the PC doesn't even run stable on JEDEC frequency and timings. Do your systems all post on the first attempt? Because mine never does. Of course all drivers and BIOS is always up to date. Did clean windows install (twice), I am struggling with this for a few months now.
  10. Since I upgraded my PC to Zen4, it drives me crazy. The Setup is a 7950X3D on an Asus X670E-F Gaming with 2x16GB of Corsair Ram. (CL30-36-36-76 Hynix Dies) I just can't get that thing to run stable, it never boots on the first try, PBO doesn't work as it should, sometimes if I just enter the BIOS without changing anything and save the settings, I get unfixable random BSODs. What is that S..... Don't get me wrong I am not stupid, if I get the system to run stable I am in the top places of most 3DMark Benchmarks for my configuration. And it is stable for multiple hours of Stress testing. I just wanted to know if there are other people experiencing the same problems like me, and maybe if somebody managed to fix it with different Ram for example? Because it looks to me, like my board is just to stupid to take a bunch of working memory settings.

  12. Hi, Since there are a few car guys under the tech guys here, I thought maybe someone can help me out with my problem. Me and my wife have a BMW F11 and an F30. And for while now Bluetooth audio won't work anymore. It started on my wife's car when she got her Pixel 7, now since an Android update I have the same problem with my Nothing Phone 2. Same problem on both cars with both phones. The bluetooth connects normally, and the car can access the phone book and make calls as usual. But the audio does not work, it shows up normally on the car, and the phone also thinks it's connected. I can even skip titles via the car entertainment system. But the car doesn't show a song title and there is no sound. On the phones it looks like the audio is playing normal, in YouTube Music, Spotify or the music player, it won't matter which app is used to playback the audio. Very rarely taking a phone call, reconnecting or restarting the car fixes the problem. But sometimes you have to do that 10 times and even then you can get unlucky. The only way which works always is completely deleting the phone from the car and pair it once again. Did anyone already experience that problem and maybe know how to fix it?
  13. Hi, both of my Xbox One Controller are getting Joystick Drift. I watched a few reviews for for Hall Effect actuators but all I found aren't quite that good, they either have bad circularity or the stick sometimes the sticks don't even go all the way to the controller shell. Does anybody know if there are any good ones?
  14. Hi, I am looking for a device that allows me to connect my notebook via Thunderbolt to the triple monitor setup of my desk. It should be able to switch two FullHD scrrens, one 4K screen and at least 5 USB 2.0 devices between the desktop PC and the Notebook and at best also charge the laptop. Also it should've introduce too much latency to the display connection of the desktop PC. Is there anything like that?
  15. I've been playing that game for over 150h now and yes it also has GPU issues, with my 3090 constantly at 95%, struggling to hold the 30fps. But the GPU only affects frame rate. The simulation speed on the other hand is only CPU bound and will only get noticable at about 180K population on a good system.
