  1. Hi Thanks for the input I also belive the gigabyte is not for me. So you would also pick pg279q even if its a very old display? I cant get my head around it, this display is really old now and still selling at regular price 740usd... Now in deal I can get it for 550 thats why i even consider it
  2. Yes indeed i could go for monitor arms, but as you mentioned raises price again, also i think the features the acer has to offer are the same as the cheaper asus models thats why they are in my favour. Thanks for your input!
  3. Hi Thanks for your input! What i see on a first look is that it has only AMD-Freesync and no Gsync. Also response time seems to be in reality between 5 and 10 ms and not the ad vertised 1 ms. Also the fact it has to be connected via usb the whole time to be able to change settings puts me off. I dont think thats the right choice for me
  4. Dear All. I need your help in choosing a display. I rock a 9900k - 2080ti -32gb ram, so pretty high spec and my old 60hz monitor of course cant keep up. I now seek for a new good display - should be 27 or a bit bigger but no ultra wide as i enjoy fps games. - 1440p resolution - at least 144hz - preffred is a IPS panel as they have amazing color, VA may be also ok but I dont want to rock a TN panel anymore. - Gsync - HDR is a plus Here my current list of display which I think are good 1. ASUS PG279Q - With this one it worries me that its release was a long time ago and i wonder if there is not a more recent one which would fit better for me I can get it in a deal for about 550 USD 2. ASUS VG27AQ - here worries me thats its only g sync compatible other then that feature are great HDR support to - but i read some not really nice reviews about it THis one I get get for about 450 USD 3. LG 27GL850-B - not sure what worries me but linus review did not sound really amazing This one would cost me 550 usd 4. ASUS VG32VQ - maybe to big in my point of view - va panel 570 USD 5. Acer XB271HU - dont like their red stands - also pricy for the features 660 USD 6. Gigabyte AD27QD - only AMD Freesync but 10 bit color 566 USD My budget is around 600 USD - Did i miss a good display which did not make my list with has my requirements? which one would you order from my list? Or which one would you recommend to me? Which would you choose over which one and why? Right now my favourite is still the PG279Q , but i am just afraid of the panel lottery and it worries me that the release was so long ago. Also the VG27AQ sounds very good in my point of view, cant see any downside there the specs seem to be almost the same as the PG279Q - just newer Thanks so much for your input and recommendations. I really need some help with my decision or other point of views.. Monitors tech have never been my strenght
