  1. Just had Bruh moment. So I Q flash(As Gigabyte calls it)ed the BIOS with same F15a(No idea if this is safe), and now 6 core active is 4.3-4.4Ghz(Which was Auto in BIOS) with 1298(Multi)/184(Single)/121.8(OpenGL) in R15. I guess BIOS was the problem then.
  2. I just did(uninstalled XTU/Stock settings in BIOS) and as expected now it's 1199(Multi)/167(Single). I think even back then it was already stuck at 4Ghz. I guess I'll flush CMOS then.
  3. Well worst happening now. ? Edit : Deleted this cuz the problem was solved
  4. I just ran Cinebench R15, and although it didn't crashed or didn't worked, I think it good some good marks according to 'rank'(?)(117fps/1216cb). I think it's just BF1 fu**ing around with me
  5. Never heard about XTU, I'll see what this is.
  6. But aren't 8086k already *lucky* 8700k chips?
  7. I higly doubt this(Z370P D3) would be the lowest, since I DID used Z370N WiFi before this(Other story), and that was itx mobo. Can you elaborate more about AVX? They're in auto(AVX offset). Apart from CPU clock ratio which is set to 50/5Ghz, nothing is changed in frequency settings.
  8. Sorry this comment had to be edited, I had to look into my BIOS to see what was detail. My mobo BIOS seems really clunky(UI wise) even with latest F15a, no fancy things like auto OC. The MCE is activated, but that's about it.
  9. Ofc not all core 5Ghz lol. In BIOS there is CPU clock ratio which moves by 1(0.1Ghz), and that one was set to 50(5Ghz) Also there is turbo ratio which I CAN decide individually(1 core to 6 core), but I left them as auto.
  10. Then should I try with base frequency with no OC/XMP?
  11. I've been running i7-8086k for good half year. Overclock to 5Ghz with 1.35v as guided( https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/950229-overclocking-the-8086k/ ). Got 1st BSOD(Related to Intel rapid storage) when launching fresh installed BF1, other games were running fine. Uninstalled IRS, then tried BF1 again, got 2nd BSOD(IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL), froze there so had to cold reboot. Went to BIOS, dropped voltage to 1.3v while keeping 5Ghz, got BSOD(WHEA uncorrectable) while booting. Windows suggested any *fixes* but just selected reboot. Went to BIOS again to up voltage to 1.35v, but downed frequency to 4.9Ghz. I have yet to launch BF1 again, but I don't get few things. First is why I can't stabilize on 5Ghz? People claimed they reach 5Ghz with even less than base voltage of 1.3v(1.28v for example), and lot claimed 1.35v is enough for 5+Ghz(5.1/5.2Ghz). On the other hand, ever since I upgraded my rig, I wasn't able to play BF1 at all. This( https://www.reddit.com/r/battlefield_one/comments/exe4mc/cant_join_game_in_bf1/ ) happened before today. After fresh reinstall, now it's giving me BSODs. All suggested *fixes* weren't so much help(Delete Origin cache, repair, reinstall etc). But other games(Overwatch/SC2) were running perfectly fine even on 5Ghz. I have ample cooling(Corsair H115i), right mobo(Gigabyte Z370P D3), enough RAM(4*8GB Dominator) and sufficient PSU(Corsair RM750X). No missing Windows update, latest bios, Nvidia driver is 441.87 etc. Could this be just bad lucked CPU? Or is BF1 just refusing me :/?
  12. I'm using EVGA now. It's much cleaner than MSI afterburner. Hopefully it'll show what is the problem
  13. Where can I do troubleshoot? The max fps I get in BF1 ultra at 1440p is 90-100 fps(And drops if I play too long like few hours). Even *easy games like Overwatch, I never got full fps. I'm not sure if this is even normal.
  14. Thanks! I just checked and it says it's compatible with my Palit 2080ti Dual. But I was looking for AIO cooler like this EVGA one(https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=400-HY-1484-B1). But it does not say it'll be compatible with mine :/
