  1. i really want to keep the FE cooler, i always liked the look, i was thinking about the water cooling solution but i am always into roundabout ways to improve something stock before modifying.
  2. I am running a rtx 2080 FE, gigabyte x570 aorus elite, amd ryzen 3800x, in a nzxt h710, the problem i am having is thermals. both the processor and graphics card run hot. mostly concerning me on my graphics card, 75-79c on load. i have 2 140mm fans and a 120mm fan in the front, 1 140mm fan in the rear, and a nzxt kraken x62 in a pull configuration at the top of the case. here is the idea i have to fight the thermal problems. i dont have a need for the other pci slots, so let me know why this is either dumb or a decent thing to try.
  3. Hey thanks guys i really appreciate it. i didnt even think to check with best buy. time to save up a little more. lol. might need to update my mobo first though. running a i5 6600k on a gigabyte z170 board. im thinking the cpu might bottle neck 2 2080's? thoughts?
  4. Does anyone know where i could find a trustworthy rtx 2080 founders edition to run nvlink? i have been planning on doing it for a while, but now that the super versions have come out they are more expensive and harder to find. running on hard times with baby almost here to join the family. any help would be awesome thank you!
  5. i have a 9700k intel processor on a aoris pro z390 motherboard running windows server 2012 r2 its been a bumpy ride to this point but i am trying to get intel graphics drivers loaded on and it replys with "this installation package is not supported by this processor type" i know this is due to the processor not really liking win 2012 r2, but is there a way to fix this?
