Living in France, and wanting to replace my F30 328i, I need to add 60k euros of pollution taxes. I wanted that Dark Horse or M3 ...

You can add a second gpu and as long as you assign the 4090 to be the 3d proccessor for the game it will use that. There will be a slight performance overhead but it'll be fine. I do recommend sticking with nvidia for a easier setup. Check for a used 1030 with 4gb of vram (the ddr5 one) just to make sure it wont eat into your ram and be even slower. Also of course check if the card has the neccesary outputs at the resolution and refresh rate you want.

Else probably a gt 1630 or gtx 1650 used will do too. Dont need a bunch of proccessing power at all or bandwith a x4 link is plenty.

Some monitors allows daisy chaining them through display port, Meaning you only plug one of them into the GPU and the second to the DP-out port on the first monitor. I'm not sure if you will be able to get above 60Hz on those by doing that though, but that will allow you to use more monitors than you have available screen ports on your GPU

ASUS is meant to release a new 4k PG32UQXR. I'm waiting for that. Viewing experience is meant to be great and it not being an OLED it'll be far brighter with no burn in.

I would go for this one https://fr.pcpartpicker.com/product/tgpzK8/asus-rog-strix-xg27aqm-270-2560-x-1440-270-hz-monitor-xg27aqm
    or this one ViewSonic ELITE XG271QG 27.0" 2560 x 1440 240 Hz Monitor (XG271QG) - PCPartPicker
    or this one for the best experience Asus ROG Swift 360Hz PG27AQN 27.0" 2560 x 1440 360 Hz Monitor (90LM0820-B01370) - PCPartPicker

I made the mistake of getting a 27" 1080p monitor, if you wanted to go bigger monitor maybe go with 2k or 4k res.

You should get this if you want a very bright screen.

I am using Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 and in SDR, I only set my brightness at 44 and it is already freaking bright.

The Asus OLED is pretty much the best gaming monitor on the market. I'd recommend to get that one. HDR brightness peaks around 1000 nits for smaller objects, fullscreen brightness and SDR peak brightness sits around 250 nits. SDR and fullscreen aren't the brightest, but still enough for most people i'd say. The other advantages like the lack of pixel overdrive, top-tier input lag and perfect blacks without local dimming more than make up for it.

With the announcement of the new Xeon platform (especially the W9 3400) I wonder if it is not time to replace my 5900x with a 3475/3495x. I have been using my PC as a gaming PC/Workstation but compiling my codebase with only 12c/24t takes too much time for my liking.
I just hope the gaming performance won't be too impacted

    Or Intel i7 13700K / i9 13900K.

Edit: A Ryzen 9 5950X might also be of help if you decide on not replacing the whole platform.

    So if this scales perfectly:

    A 13900k would be ablout 26% faster
    A 7950x would be about 23% faster
    A 5950x would be about 17% faster

Its up to you if the investment is worth it.

IF it scales perfectly linear AND can use multiple cores AND this is a CRITICAL task that you cant do over like a lunch break, sleep,... AND just getting a second machine to keep working isnt an option a threadripper 5000 system would be worth looking at.

Potentially a used epyc with a current socket board too as the eypc cpus  have basically everything but audio and power delivery on themselves so boards are extremely forwards compatible
